Worth every penny! I recommend Henry to everyone because everytime I buy one it becomes my favorite rifle. Been addicted since 1997/98. If for some reason you have an issue, Henry has the best customer service I've ever seen. After 23 years my big boy 357 and golden boy had issues extracting. Sent them in and after speaking with Anthony I. personally, my rifles returned to my home better than new! Turn around time - 1.5 weeks.

I love your rifle, I have the Big Boy Brass Carbine with large loop and love it. Same rifle in 357 but shorter octagonal barrel and obviously the large loop. Great video ... so much fun to shoot these.

I have the 357 in color case and side gate. I have the 3030 in brass with no side gate. The 3030 is the first rifle that I have ever owned. So, I can not compare a henry rifle to a winchester.

Thanks for the review! ... I just got the same rifle a few weeks ago. They are magnificent. Owned a Model 001 for about 4 years, which in my opinion are the best entry level .22 lever gun you can get.

I've got this rifle but in 44 mag, it's on as far as elevation but hits a little to the right, I need to drift the front sight over to be dead on but it's still accurate enough to take a deer with it. I'm waiting get another Henry in either big boy brass in 41mag or an all weather in 44mag.

The exciting news is they apparently now have this in side gate while retaining the brass butt plate. Should be SASS legal. 👍👍

@@JBJHonez Up until recently all of the side gates had rubber butt pads so not SASS legal. Judging by the pictures this one should be.

Just got one of these rifles. It’s really fun to shoot and love the rifle. Not very impressed by the buck horn sights.

I had one of them my problem with it was very heavy and no side gate. Then Henry added the side gate now I own 7 Henry's 3 x-models 44,357,45 colt 1 color case model in 357 16 inch barrel and 38-55,35 rem,30-30. I like them a lot but for hunting I almost always grab one of my 1892's light and handy. I don't still hunt much I walk hunt more I have killed a lot of deer and hog's walk hunting.
