An emotional day at Celtic park saw Celtic finish their league campaign with a win thanks to a Henrik Larsson double. It was also the last time Larsson would don the green and white hoops in a competitive match at Celtic Park as he made his move to Barcelona in the summer.
The Swede scored 243 goals in all competitions for Celtic in the 7 years he spent at the club.

Any decent Celtic fan should make a stand and show solidarity to the victims instead of pretending this didn't happen. P.S stop calling it point scoring it's called telling the truth. I was there that day 😔 A season later I gave up my season ticket. Just wasn’t the same for me anymore. He truly was the king of kings. Like Jinky Johnstone was of my Grandas era.
This day marked the end of my childhood and the day I realised all good things must come to an end
Rangers fan here. I hope we see the quality of this man again in scottish football.
Could have walked into any team in Europe, gave Celtic seven wonderful years.
I remember being a wee girl and watching this crying because my hero was leaving. This for me was my best era with Celtic. 🥺💚 greatest Celtic player ever in my opinion alongside jinky. And Petrov who ended up with the same cancer my baby daughter had 😢 both have done amazingly well to beat it! Hail hail

Our team now is the best we have had since o`neill team but we aren't as good as that team yet, if Larsson was playing in his Prime under big Ange for us now he would bang in 60 easy
Superb talent...we were very lucky to have him for as long as we did...football is money driven now with no loyalty...This man was loyal to Celtic Fc....LEGEND.

Larsson broke my heart many a time as me being a gers fan. Guy was an incredible player and a model professional, had an amzing career at celtic but glad he went to man utd and barca to show the world that he wasnt overhyped because scottish football is poor. Legend status used too many times on average players these days but no doubt about it he is a legend. Just wish he played for rangers 😂

Was my first celtic match as a kid never seen as many grown men cryin in my life, an absolute legend to so many of us, the king of kings🍀
As a Rangers fan he one of the greatest opponents I’ve ever seen. He had everything and was a complete nightmare at times.
season ticket holder for all his 7 years and been going since i was 9 now nearly 55 , i watch the like from, danny mcgrain, paul mc stay, tommy burns and co but henrik was by far the best celtic player i have seen in my time, for myself we did change as a team and a club , forward momemtun left the club in that time

Might not have been anywhere near that level in the hoops but based on whole careers including non-Celtic performances, Van Dijk is probably up there now.

Had been through this with Cantona 1997 when he left. I was crestfallen. I knew what was going to happen when Larsson left. Didn't make it any easier. You have one of these players who mean so much to you in your life. I was lucky to get 2. Both Kings and Henrik was the king of Kings. Winning the champions league with Barcelona...I've never wanted something so badly for someone. Hail Hail!

When he was at Celtic, I became a fan of that club....When he moved to Manchester, which I didn't like at all, I had to become a fan of that club. Then when he went to Barca, I became catalan....After the Champions League final, Henry said that Larson beat them...
