Henrietta My Mustang: Things Get Better
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
After my big mistake in my last video, I used protective contact for a few days to focus on building a plan for Henry. Things get much better as I start to stop fumbling around!

You took a lot of time and patience to groom her. I see the beginning of a wonderful bond.
Ngl this is one of the prettiest horses I’ve ever seen

I’m so obsessed with her 🥹 I think she’s stunning!
She genuinely seems to enjoy and desire your company - that's a great start. Be sure to keep up your Boss status at all times - she seems a bossy mare !! and a green one at that ! I don't see overstimulation, I see a smart girl who is understimulated. She is lovely. I havent seen an other vids yet so I may be wrong, sorry

I use alfalfa/timothy pellets!
It's spring
She's pushing you around. She is now leading you and this has to alter in the dynamic. You must move her feet not the other way around. Doesn't require you being a bully but just a change in the dynamic. A flag can be great to keep your space and don't hand feed. Please watch Steve Young Horsemanship just to watch what is possible.
