Henri de Toulouse Lautrec: A collection of 277 paintings (HD)
Description: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, in full Henri-Marie-Raymonde de Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa (born Nov. 24, 1864, Albi, France-died Sept. 9, 1901, Malromé) French artist who observed and documented with great psychological insight the personalities and facets of Parisian nightlife and the French world of entertainment in the 1890s. His use of free-flowing, expressive line, often becoming pure arabesque, resulted in highly rhythmical compositions (e.g., In the Circus Fernando: The Ringmaster, 1888). The extreme simplification in outline and movement and the use of large colour areas make his posters some of his most powerful works.

Extreme talent with this one. Said a genius from out of this world.
One of my fave artists. Definitely one of the greatest draughtsmen of the 19th c.
Such passion. Such decadence. Such brilliance.....
Thank you kindly for the gallery. He was so great at capturing the character of people. One of the greatest draughtsmen ever.
The art of painting, this is one of the arts that I truly love!
this is amazing. i feel the energy and motivation run through me, i can't believe they didn't project these on atelier walls in school from time to time.
Thanks for posting this!!!

Yes its incredible to watch. Always surprising, often moving. He seemed to capture the essence of a scene and subjects then move on.

Thank you 🔹💎🔹💎 Beautiful
He had a great eye for simplicity & color.
Enjoyed
It's very sad to me that "art" isn't what it used to be. I wish I was born in 1880. Nowadays people say "this is my art" and is some girl on stage showing more skin then talent or some strange looking thing or a bunch of nylons hanging from the ceiling. If we were to show any of these pieces to a random person on the street chances are much higher that they will either say, "is it Picasso" or they'll say "is it the guy who did Mona Lisa". We have lost our sense in so many things we once called beautiful. Now,....Books are looked at as for old people, painting is just something u do for fun while u drink, silent movies are boring, Marie Antoinette ate cake and no one knows what the differences between Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. I asked a high school student, "Who is Mary Stuart?" She said, "she wrote the Harry Potter movies!" I wanted to kill myself.

Grandma was born in 1892. Only 2 of 8 kids survived infancy. She had a humpback when older because no milk/ calcium was available. Good old days
Awesome. I love looking at the Masters for ideas and make Re-enactments . That is how I learn. Who wants to buy Art during a Pandemic. ?
grazie
A individual can only appreciate the hidden quality of art 🖼 media might be any. Happy to see art ful presentation in fact very pleasing to the naked eye.
Beautiful .
What a wonderful collection, an amazing artist . When somebody can create such wonders it makes you feel quite insignificant.
He is great. I heard that he went to brothels and sketched Can Can girls. That’s why he was so good, he made these paintings from real life situations.

Yes, he did. I recommend you to read the book "Moulin Rouge" by Pierre La Mure. It is a novel about Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, written very delicately and respectfully. www.itravelwithart.com/moulin-rouge-by-pierre-la-mure/
espectacular
A style of his own
Awesome.

Buenos vídeos, bastante culturales e instructivos.
Really good he is a Master Artist
Lautrec didn't let his acondroplasia (dwarfism) stop him from cavorting with the ladies. He was quite the man about town.

A giant in his lifetime!
Siempre me ha gustado su obra
Magnificent is an over used word........but the work was and is MAGNIFICENT!
The art ponies the culture of it,s time
Henri de Toulouse Lautrec is my great great Uncle...a very old family line from my fathers side.
I have a framed print of one of his pieces. (5:17) I guess that women in black sitting at the bar is someone famous back then I think it was an actress.
Podziwiam Jego prace!!!
You accidently put one by van gogh in around 20:56 or is that weaver by Lautrec?

2:26 eerie but still a good piece of art
Me gusta el impresionismo. Renoir y Degas son mis favoritos.
Mestre!
Listening to The Innocence Mission with Henri........pure pleasure......try it....
不記得了但一定是年輕時臨摹過Lautrec的作品,他的作品色彩太有激情,收放自如👍

"Dans le lit, le baiser" ("In bed, the kiss") - 1892
TOULUOSE LAUTREC FOUND THE BEAUTY OF HUMAN BEINGS IN THEIR IMPERFECTION, IN THE EVERYDAY ACTIVITY AND REALITY OF THEIR LIVES. ALSO, HE IS THE ONLY PAINTER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS ART WHO INCORPORATED ETHICS INTO HIS WORK: HE PAINTED THINGS AS THEY ARE. NO COMMENT.
Madame...your balcony is exquisite. ..
Вражає свобода, відвертість і сміливість!
I really wish that the pictures wouldn't zoom so that the original composition could be enjoyed. with the pictures moving it is too hard to really look at anything.

There is an option to slow it down, just go to the menu bar (3 dots to the upper right corner) and there's a setting that says speed:normal, click on it and you can either slow it down or speed it up

Truthfully a feast
I paint portraits of people & pets. The dog portrait was outstanding.
I don't get the 72👎🏼, people are delusional. I love this guys art, it's about what was going on at that time period/era. Real life scenarios 👍🏽
Çok beğendim.👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
👍👍👍
Watch later. Thanks

What a genius
Wonderful series of videos but where possible its so good to see these paintings in the museums and exhibitions. On film, as in books, the colours are often wrong. For example the actual painting of the girls shirt at 19:12 is vibrant white yet contains blues, reds, greens. No image can truly convey how beautiful these pictures really are.
👍🎉😊
Please do not zoom in on the pictures. It is not helpful in any way. We need to see the full frame.
Не знаю почему, но картины мне понравились!
Too bad we don't have the titles and the years of the paintings... :(
Gonna make some copies someday

Right on... and in the same vein, Erik Satie could be described as the composer who revealed the truest form of "French" music.....
Died at the age of 37...
