Henk Poort (1956) is a Dutch opera and musical singer and a baritone. and was THE Dutch ghost of the Phantom of the Opera from 1993 In 2019 Poort participated in Best Singers, where he took first place in the Dutch iTunes list with his version of “Sound of Silence”. he song this for Floor Jansen(Nichtwish) in a metal version because she is in a metal band. His cover of "Phantom of the Opera", together with Floor Jansen, was also very successful.

he began singing the original Simon and Garfunkel version. Than he switched it up and ended with the Disturbed version. loved it. He was so nervous before performing the song for Floor. be cause he never before had song like that before. its a no no for an operasinger. where you have to sing as clean as posible. he had practiced singing like that for a few houers before performing it for Floor and the Netherlands.

Differently from Floor that is able to sing anything she wants. and Floor is a fangirl of him.

Saw this show because Floor was in it and in doing so discovered several other amazing artist that i would have never heard of most likely otherwise. Such a good format on a tv show.

@@Sir-IKON To which Draiman was not a fan of, he was not happy when he found out it had been used. The network used it because he was ill at the time of this performance. You can see it in his eyes, plus the fact he decided to do this performance sitting down, which makes it even more remarkable. Sitting down because he wasn't sure he could stand for the entire song.
