Wat do you think about trying to 8spd swap from a 6spd? Thing is im already fbo and im about to do nitrous as well but I have a 6spd I've read forums and whatnot saying it is not worth it but, what do you think?

Im really not sure how hard the swap is, but i know Kustom Black Motorsports (Joey) was gearing up to do his, I will say i can have all the same mods as the 5/6 speed trucks and walk away from them with my 8 speed, trans and gearing are a huge part of drag racing. So in terms of cost or headaches, im not sure its worth it or not. In terms of being faster than you were, Definitely worth it! But also if your strictly about racing you might give Frostbite Ram a follow, He went a completely different route on his trans, It's definitely not a setuo i would daily but hes all about track e.t. so its a good choice in terms of drag racing. I fabricated it myself from scratch.

It made a big difference, especially when i spray it. Iv been trying to get to the track but haven't made it yet.

You put the cam in yourself?

I sure did. I had a hand lifting the heads back in, but thats about it. In total it took about 38 hrs. There are 2 videos on my channel just to sho my process.
