For those who complain she is too calm...that's what you're meant to do. Otherwise, you make it more difficult for the patient and cause even more pain and stress.

And also not only that, but you can't think straight if you start panicking so it's very important to stay calm even if it's very hard.
I really like the woman that's helping the heart attack victim. It gives out a message that even disabled people can still do extraordinary things.

My wife's dad died from a heart attack. Stay safe out there.
Hmm was anyone else expecting more? I'd probably go crazy from the tension by the time an ambulance arrives lol
@polarvortex3294
10 ай бұрын
I was expecting more too. But some other person here said that you don't give CPR if the victim is still conscious (which makes sense, I guess) and a defibrillator only works in certain cases, namely (I looked it up) when there's cardiac arrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, and pulseless ventricular tachycardia (whatever they are!). Interestingly, according to what I read, A Defibrillator will not provide a shock unless it detects that the casualty’s heart is in ‘fibrillation’, you therefore can do NO HARM by applying a defibrillator to a casualty
I don’t know why people dislike this if it helps someone

Okay this is a bit of subject, but the lady in the wheel chair has a beautiful calming and elegant voice!
I cant believe it,m is it the traditional British elegance and courtesy to be so calm in this emergency event? OMG, the way she behaved is so nicely calm that is beyond my imagine.

The only reason I can think of is because it's too fake looking but then again there are other episodes like where a child hits her head and I dint how they would fake her hitting her head on a playset and having a bump and then one where a lady finds her husband isn't breathing and he is blue around the lips!! But I guess it's to take looking or the where I think its the same guy and he starts choking on some food.

Everyone should know first aid since time is an essence. You can advise the patient to cough really hard to shock the heart or pound his chest to help the heart since that is cardiac arrest. The heart will die due to lack of oxygen.
I know this is wrong but I'm it so funny when she said "can you call for an emergency, I think my friend is having a heart attack" cause she's so calm and smiling.

I have a problem with my heart and im 14,5 yrs old, when you have a heart attack, ( I dont get attacks but very sharp pains in the heart) You can not breathe while you have a attack. You can NOT take deep breathes AND NEVER ATTEMPT TO. You will make your heart muscles hurt and just make everything worse. Take quick and short breathes one after the other and STOP ANYTHING YOU ARE DOING. You can actually RUN OUT OF AIR while having an attack. Sit down and breathe quickly with short breathes untill the pain stops. Of course call an ambulance while having a attack but if there isnt anyone around just do the above. One last thing, an attack can happen to anyone. I am a very fit person who enjoys sports and eats well, but I get sharp pains, and if I didnt watch myself im sure id get attacks too. Please like the comment so everyone gets to know these extra "rules" on how to deal with these

It's an act so, it's obviously a bad demonstration
You're taught nowadays to get the patient to sit with their back against a flat surface like a wall and sit with their knees up to help blood flow and to constantly reassure them. If you are in the middle of nowhere without a phone, there's not much you could do while the patient is actually conscious as the heart is still trying to pump blood. You should only do compressions on unconscious patients and a defibrilator only works on certain irregular rythmns.
I live in Canada and we have to call 911
" oh I think my friends having a heart attack, can you call the ambulance, thank you" I know it's fake but I would be screaming, it could've killed him

Yup also as preventive measures, cause Aspirin cause blood thinning and patient tend to have prolonged bleeding.
If someone is having a heart attack, see if he can talk. If he can, ask who has his will.
If possible, give asprin.
My friends mom died with a heart attack but it was in the night so nobody was there to save her
PANIC NEVER HELPS. Calm yourself down to calm down the patient even further. PANIC CAUSES DISTRESS!

My best friends father died of a heart attack and now I wont to be sure I know what to do during that sort of incident.
Good videos. Unfortunately most people are too scared to help in these situations, even with first aid knowledge. If someone requires first aid you must trust the knowledge that you have and do what you can; don't be a spectator.
What a little goody goody. I'd be screaming.
The patient may feel 'not well' do not ignore this, looking at the patient ... pain will spread from the left side moving to the right arm and chest side of the heart..many heart attack will be caused by blood clots others have other origins.Do not walk to some distant destination because its inconvenient call for immediate assistance if these symptoms persist. get enough information from patient for the medical staff including special conditions.
My grandfather has disease of the heart and carries with him everywhere nitro glycerin pills that he takes when he is having a heart attack, so my advise is to ask if he or she if they have medication on them.
If I have buttery popcorn everyday, I would have a heart attack if I did not stop eating buttery popcorn everyday in the future

She was panicing and had not idea what to do. My vision started to get blurry and I completely blacked out. I woke up the next day in a hospital, finding out that I had heart failure. ~Lauren, 14.
Imagine a meteorite hitting you in the chest at about 45 Kilometres per second or about 27 miles per second. It hurts extremely bad.

To not stress your friend out! A bit of common sense duh...
My grandmother uses warfarin because of a stationary blood clot in her lower left leg but my grandfather carries nitroglycerin. I suppose it could be the same use but I know that both are lethal at wrong dosages.
I’m worried I’ll have a heart attack one day, my dads dad died from a heart attack, my dads had 3 heart attacks himself and I now and then I get a pain in my chest where the heart is, it’s a sharp pain and it hurts a lot, it’s nothing to bad tho, like it isn’t an excruciating pain, nor do I see anyone for it but I’m not sure if heart attacks can be genetic, i hope they aren’t.

I'm wondering if the patient made it?
She is way too calm as if he has only a little scratch to his arm and everything will be ok lol. In reality a pre-heart attack will require fast action, preferably getting him an aspirin to help protect his heart for the while he is waiting for emergency crew to arrive.
