Helping out a new Fancier in the sport
Спорт
Steve is a close friend & co-worker of mine that decided to get into the pigeon hobby after visiting a racing pigeon auction with me a few months back he got a pair of birds an he was hooked, ive been mentoring him an helping him get set up with this basic pigeon setup he has now. Which will eventually evolve in the future. its great to see people take interest in our sport an i can only hope by providing content like this it may spark the interest of more future pigeon fanciers.

Wish he wasn’t so camera shy
Always good helping the new guys 👍. Keep up the good work
Awesome vid Eric!. Good that you are bringing a new flyer into the sport and mentoring him along.. 👍👍
Nice! That's how we keep the hobby growing, help out the new guys. Your new birds are nice, really like the Geerinckx birds. The cock's wing shield reminded me of Gladiator when you pulled him out of the box. He's got a nice, clean loft setup.

Great and easy cleaning setup your friend got there. I just subscribed looking forward to see your next vlog.
Outstanding, nice of you helping out the new comers, that's how we help them come into the sport and stay motivated to continue. Best of luck to Steve. ... "Steve" must be the most popular name in the sport, I know a hand full of them 😂

More content from EB!! Nice job man. You’re befriending the Steve’s. We’re an interesting breed. If he needs a couple more birds I can breed some stuff this summer to help a fellow Steve out.

The steves are everywhere

any tips for getting them off floor without totally spooking them?? got great recall at moment with youngbirds but few younger floor peckers seem to be keeping some of older ones down on floor. thanks

On the floor of the loft?

no outside in my yard, very tight built up area so let them out young. Iv only one youngbird loft so bit of mix of ages. had some hatched in late December that where loft flying well but now they are mixed with some a month or so younger they have gone back to floor pecking outside alot. know mixing ages is not ideal but have to work with the space available. thanks. @EBloft

do you think they will all start going up together when they get bit more age on them? Dont really want pigeon shaped chickens.

@@Josh-NikkiB yes they definitely will I would just let them fly back an forth from the loft to the ground for now, until they get comfortable if you scare them right away its going to be a hassle to get them back. if they continue doing that because of the older birds try an separate the older birds from them
