Thanks! They shed more frequently when they are younger and growing. As adults it seems like some part of them is always in shed

It falls off naturally and they also rub on rough objects to get it off, just like a snake shedding

Rub against anything they can to get rid of it. I have heard of some dying from stuck sheds or even eye shed In the wild they probably do their best. But not all make it. They sometimes rub against a rock 🪨 or bark and they will get infected and die from it.
