Yes pretty insane eh.. I started looking on facebook, saw a few around 1.5k mark so spent a week scouring forums getting myself real hyped & when I've come to look to view, the only legit bikes that aren't death traps are circa 3k & 2020/2021 models.. 🤔🤔🤔 found a brand new one 2023 model from a store 5miles from mine @ 4.5k allegedly cheapest available....wish I had the spare cash to snap it up. Good luck on hunt brother any tips?

just got one, 2000$ for one with 700 miles and some cnc mods and a bad controler ended up buying a used bac 4000 for 400$ on the way to get the bike and installed it at the sellers place to test it, worked great!

Look for them on sale in other countries. Took me five minutes to find a 2021 for 3200$ in Canada with maybe another 2-300 for shipping. Also worth keeping an eye out for parts. If you can find a used chassis/motor in working condition the rest can be pieced out pretty cheap from people doing upgrades.

just bought one for 1.7 all it needed was new weels and breaks wear on the way out its a steal

The Talaria has a battery charge counter. You could estimate mileage from that too. IMO buying new is so much better.

If I can save $800-$1000 on a like new sur ron I always try to go that route. Any less savings, then yeah, new is better!

At a certain point, the savings might be worth it. The sellers that want top dollar and wont budge on price, pass for sure, the its definitely not worth it, no matter how 'clean' and 'low miles' is claimed.

How does one mount the light low on the fork like that?

i was looking on creagslist and someone posted a "sur ron 2023" they had DNM breaks and no upgrades and was listed for 5.3k i contacted owner and he confirmed he was firm on price and was telling truth. I cant anymore finding a good priced sur ron is frickin hard bru. :/

How do you know what year the Surron is why do you not cover this very important detail?

I paid 3700 USD for a Sur ron X Black Edition. They all list for $4k near me. Pros-JFG Racing Peg brackets, Warp 9 pegs, Prickly Performance Linkage, Shimano SLX Brake levers, pro taper grips, new screen, new seat. Cons- dropped for sure but not bad, horn doesn’t work, headlight didn’t work, already cut the wire, 6 pin connector is broken on both battery and harness side, Atleast 400miles on the bike, stock tires are almost out, stock brake pads are out, chain and sprocket are worn out, missing bolts The wire repairs were horrid. Just electric tape and wires that kept touching each other. But the chain and sprocket is worn to the point where I have slack no matter what. Thankfully working on this bike is like working on a Walmart bike. To be honest i think it’s a good deal for me just because all the cons I can easily fix and make better.

I just got a Surron and the person that sold it to me told me that it’s a 60v battery, I looked all over the battery and it says nothing. How would I know which battery they put on my bike? Btw, I love your videos! Subscribed!

Just look at the battery itself if he says it’s 60v it’s more likely the stock battery.

buy a surron lightbee x for 4800 it 2023 he put about 5000 into upgrades looks insane and the best stuff you could buy it has a scratched up frame and he said he just wants to get rid of it hes my age too 16 and seems like just has rich parents what do you guys think

Yes, stock parts go for sale all the time. If you can get the chassis and a battery for 1500 you’re making money.

I think I’ll buy the cheapest one I can find it will be really good value as a frame and not everything will be broken

Cause this guy is selling a red surron and it seems to have a little bigger battery than stock but it just has the surron controller but also has the rst killah forks and supermoto tires but I wanna know the difference of the one that has the x on it

in my country they cost 5100 dollars, there is no used ones and I can't buy it from outside cuz the delivery is really trash like I mean really trash, America's delivery system is like a song compared to my guys here.

found one with just 99 miles, for $3,500 looks like the screen has been through some times so think is legit. looks good condition

I’m buying a used X160 with the 60v battery and the X controller for $3,500 from a guy here in Austin Texas. I’m going to look at it on Monday, seems completely fine cosmetically. He’s technically giving me a $7,500 bike including the accessories. I’m nervous though and I don’t really know what to look out for red flag wise

Just some additional information, the guy is moving to Hawaii and can’t take the bike with him. The price was originally $4,000 but I talked him down. He’s even throwing in a second set of 19 inch rock tires

Sounds like a good deal. Only thing with the x160’s is the motor is a different wind from the sur ron x and x260. Heard you can burn out those motors if you go above the 60v

Make sure it’s not a stolen bike. If the vin on the head tube is grinded down, then it is. I made this mistake with out looking.

After checking consistently online for a week, nobody within 150 miles of me is selling one of these for less than 4 grand. since they're only like ~$4800 brand new, I don't think that is worth it at all to go used.

So long as you aren’t goofing off and wear a helmet, most of them will treat you like a moped. I’m looking to switch from a eMTB that goes 35mph. Never had a cop even look at me. Also, you could easily outrun the cops on a Surron. At least, you could one time and then you would have to move to ride it lol.

Buying used ones in Sweden is pretty much useless, there are barely any and the ones that are is almost full price and not even the latest modell most seem to be 2019

There are a ton. E-bikes are huge over there and this is just a model that has made its way over to the states where it’s still a niche market.
