My dad is a keen pianist, from the age of 5 he’s been playing by ear now 84 he plays the organ in his local church and played a piece at our wedding recently. My challenge has gone by the wayside ? I’ve a little health scare going on at the moment but will do a month when things settle. Regarding your holiday personally I’d love to see some of Rome and Pompeii , very exciting ! I have a small kitchen, i had a washer and dryer, i got rid of them and had a washer dryer and dishwasher in the place of the dryer. Best thing ive ever done.You could re jig your kitchen without losing cupboard space. My old neighbour had a side board in her dining room for all her plates and bowls. It's not far to walk to put them away.

Hi Emma,washing up really does take time doesn’t it. I’ve had dishwashers for the past 20+ years,the added bonus is it holds all the dirty dishes and mugs during the day keeping the worktops,sink clear. You’re right to think removing clutter definitely makes keeping the house tidy much easier😊 Absolutely thrilled your daughter passed her viola exam! What an achievement, she worked hard for that so big cheers for her.🥰🥰🥰🥰xx

@@gettingtidy2495why is that Emma? My dishwasher is two cupboards away from the sink, I would just say that I had all the plumbing behind the units when we had the kitchen fitted. It’s maybe something to consider in the future if you change your kitchen units.😊xx

At 20:03,where we have a shot into your kitchen,there’s a large yellow bag on the floor at the end of your counter/cabinet. Wouldn’t a tall wicker,lined,laundry hamper fit there? At the very least,it could hold all of your “whites” while waiting their turn.( It would also keep anything else from just being “set” there)

I don't know if it's true but it seems like you have no structure in your household you're busy somewhere you stop halfway and do something completely different and when I see the kitchen it can be cleaned up a lot so that there's more counter space left and that gives you peace of mind and makes it easier to keep it clean

Hello! Challenge update--I cleared the guest bedroom bed and painted the kitchen with my husband. Now all the other walls in the house look like they could use a coat of paint. 🤔 What have I started!?

Hi Emma 🙂 please get rid of the oil thing on the top of the stairs that you want to get rid of - you said it yourself loud and clear 😂 And the hazelnut candle that you would not risk lighting. 🕯️ 😅 Would love to see clips of your upcoming travels. ✈️ House is getting there 💪 youre building momentum now ! Well done on your daughters music exam 🎶 hopefully you can get more out of the playroom and her bedroom in time for her big sale. Well done on the huge declutter in the guest bedroom in your previous video ! You are on a roll editing your home and your life. Just a little suggestion could you maybe use a basket for things that need to be taken upstairs and put them away instead of then moving items to the landing, belated anniversary wishes to you both ❤

@@traciefromSunderlanduk Yes,and less risk of a trip hazard! (I tripped in my basement three years ago and broke my shoulder in two places,plus a tear of the ligament and tendon. I’m HYPER FOCUSED on trip hazards now!)😬😵💫😖

@@traciefromSunderlanduk Fortunately it happened at the beginning of Covid,(May/2020) so I didn’t even leave the house until it was time for physical therapy and no one but my husband knew that I spent every day in a tee shirt nightie because it was too difficult and painful to dress and pull clothes up and down with one hand!😵💫😬
