Help Save 125 Acres in Virginia - Spotsylvania Court House, New Market and Trevilian Station

Our friend and American Battlefield Trust Copie Hill Civil War Fellow, Dr. Chris Makowski, stands on the Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield, where we currently have a land preservation opportunity. One of the most costly battles of the entire Civil War, this is one of the least studied parts of the battlefield. bit.ly/3JK1bAm
The American Battlefield Trust preserves America’s hallowed battlegrounds and educates the public about what happened there and why it matters. We permanently protect these battlefields for future generations as a lasting and tangible memorial to the brave soldiers who fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Civil War.

Traffic noise in the video was distracting, but the message is clear: Save This Land!

I guess a big box store or Dollar General isn't needed at these sites. Good luck.

Don’t like being “that guy,” but all of these battles happened in spring of ‘64, not the summer.
