Someone owes money to the gas company

That customer is really looking over your shoulder , and trying to run things . That was always a pet peeve of mine when I did service work .

It's so weird when customers think they're the expert and your manager when they're the ones that called you out. Like buddy, if you knew what was going on, I wouldn't be here.

Nice repair on the water heater Daniel 👍 Something is fishy about that natural gas, paying money to have it turned on, meter missing and locked 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

The appearance of the yard should tell you why the gas was shut off.

Very good methodical look on the delayed ignition.

Did you get paid a service call for diagnosing the missing gas meter & locked riser ?

Mike needs to Add a New Line in his APP for Customers who Talk Too Much. These Customers have NO Clue their Talking will Increase the Time you Spend there. 🤪👎

Never had a gas meter taken away but I get it, getting a bill once a month sucks. I've always preferred having oil where I can have 2 or 3 tanks and get them filled whenever I feel like it and the price is lower. And I can choose who I get it from. With gas you're stuck with the one company and if the meter gets taken away you're screwed.

Tim, I worked for the gas company in St. Louis, Missouri and we had a division of the service department called diversion control. 9 of our servicemen would go out with 9 off duty police officers,chasing down gas steals (people by-passing our gas meters ). These people could be really innovative in the way they bypassed meters, they would use flex connectors , cut open bicycle inner tubes with hose clamps , we even found an engineer that dug down to the gas service and glued in a PVC tee to run his pool heater. We would find shit you could not even dream of. Now with the new ultrasonic smart meters we know when they tamper with them , we can turn the gas off in the office , automatically determine the burn rate of a gas appliance and will automatically shut off if more gas is being used than a particular home is allotted for (service techs have to be extremely careful when bleeding gas lines , too much flo through the gas meter will lock it out . Plus we sent the customer a bill for the service call to come out and get it flowing again).

This is New York. Maybe the gas customer will have to post a $500,000,000 bond to Leticha James to get the gas turned back on?

Man that guy was a talker!!!!!!! I would not even know what day of the week it was by the time I left listening to all of that. And yeah gas equipment don't work so well with no meter. 🤣😂😅

Gas Meters are really Important if you have a Gas Furnace and/or Water Heater. 🤪👎 You have to Wonder 🤔 how these people struggle through Life with just a Half a 🧠.

The tenant who schedule the appointment hasn’t had the opportunity to see the home recently, he wasn’t aware the meter wasn’t installed. He’s renting, his family was moving in, and the land lord is supposed to have handled this. - all of these negative comments toward the tenant are incredibly rude.

No they’re just moving in they didn’t know the meter was gone. They thought they paid someone to put one in.
