Help Fund Magical Bridge Playground in Redwood City

Help Support Magical Bridge Playground in Redwood City!
Be a part of a movement that will bring magic to Redwood City, California.
By contributing to the Magical Bridge in Redwood City, you are not only leaving a legacy that will draw together people of all abilities, ages, and localities. This is an opportunity to help create a space unlike any other in the world, at the very center of Redwood City. Draw people in from all over the world to your community, help shape future generations to be more inclusive than previous ones, and create a better tomorrow for families and individuals who haven’t had a place to play at, until now.
You may have heard that Magical Bridge is just a playground for people with special needs, but the reality is that it is a playground for everyone. Building a Magical Bridge playground means creating a space of inclusivity which brings people, no matter their background or abilities, together. Take the cozy cocoons, which is a retreat for normal and autistic children who get overwhelmed easily, for example; or the wheelchair ramp to the slide mound and treehouse so that nobody will feel left out in play. These are only a few things that Magical Bridge will bring to Redwood City, but the benefits are infinite.
Although Magical Bridge is a new kind of innovative, advanced playground; it stands for much more than that. “We have created countless parks and playgrounds… but after visiting Magical Bridge, it hit us that we really were making the wrong type of playgrounds” Chris Beth, the director of Redwood City’s Park and Rec Department, notes. Instead of just reading this article about needing change, be a part of the organization that is bringing a wave of social change. The time to alter our past ways of simply neglecting those with special needs is now, and Magical Bridge is leading that movement. Leave a lasting legacy by making a donation to the Magical Bridge foundation.
