Even though in the Anime these guys didn’t really have a "official" army force to fight them, I think they would’ve torn any normal force to shreds. Look at what they did to the Wild Geese for example, that is the closest thing to a regular military force and they absolutely shredded them. What doesn’t help, is that every single one of these guys is a combat veteran of the worst war humanity has ever seen, WW2, along with that, add in the fact they were made into relentless vampires and you have an unstoppable army to a certain degree.

Even I am very much late upon seeing this comment, I very much have to agree. Even though Carmilla and her bunch have years of experience, they do not have the experience of these guys. Former foot-soldiers of the Waffen SS turned into damn near unstoppable killers, yeah, I think these guys would wipe the floor with anyone except Dracula and Alucard from the Castlevania series.
