Unless you've met or know Sonny, keep you negative comments to yourself. He's really down to earth and in great shape for his age. He's got more heart than 99% of anyone I've ever met hence the 1%....

Ken Doe thats not what the 1% Is for. when the hells angels started law enforcement said 99% of them are good people. The 1% stand for the bad guys the 1% of bikers who don't care about the law. your comment amuses me

God bless you Sonny Barger and the Hells Angels, veterans of our wars!! Sonny the Navajo nation rises the time is now. Alice Marie Smith, I'm her son Stephen Keith Smith. I just learned something I find interesting. Seems a movie was made of my brother looking to correct a cleft pallet while in San Fransisco. Cher and Sam Elliot, Bud, starred In the movie. Funny thing is I was told my brother Richard had died as an infant before I was born by Venetian cord in crib. My mother I thought died until I receive a phone call saying different. Last seen her at seven. Given to the state and later rescued by my aunt and uncle in Texas. Seems I picked up another brother five years my jr.,Timothy Wayne Smith. The next time I see her is in Bellingham with my grandmother and brother Tim. I was nineteen. Mother has long since past. She said to bury her face down so the world could kiss her ass. Wish I had more time with her.

brian b , How about vietnam vets that were never truly welcome home. Wha May , the soldiers marched thru an airport so people could spit upon them. Wha May was handled in Seattle at an illegal gambling hall. Gang land style a bullet to the back of the head. Sonny created something huge when he formed the Angels. Young men coming home from a very unpopular war using alcohol and drugs to help erase the pain and full of adrenaline , which by the way was the drug of choice.Today the Angels are one of the leading charitable groups in America. All bikers are charitable. We see veterans from vietnam thru the middle east . Soldiers are coming home and committing suicide . Women are loosing limbs. I would stop and rethink your comment about Mr Barger. A good man and one hell of a leader to lead that group of courageous men and hell raisers. GOD BLESS SONNY BARGER AND THE HELL ANGELS!!! Sonny is not Navajo . He is spiritual however. After conversing with an Angel that may or may not know Sonny I realized that these men and women are well versed in religion. They will discuss it with you until you leave them scratching their head and blocking you on facebook.

Our vets deserved better than what they got coming out of vuetnam. Wha May massacre in Seattle took care of that issue. Senseless and shameless to spit upon our soldiers marching thru the airport. Sonny started the Hells Angels to help veterans suffering from that jungle war.

Barger did NOT "start" the Angels, he joined them, and "marketed" them, which is not a "criticism". as it was, the "smart" move. consequently, the altruistic motives, you suggest, is "after-the- fact" mythology. A Vietnam Veteran and former " 1% known associate".

rd hawk , Sonny Barger, his story far from complete. A tough and very complex man. Don't imagine many have seen the child within. I handed a large puppy to my neighbor, Jerod Wall, and immediately he began to shake and his eyes welled up. Truly an amazing thing to see. I never once in all the years I've studied the man have I seen such a trsnsformation in a man. Thru a child's eyes we shall see the kingdom of God. zMen are made , it's not who we are it's who we became. Lovers, we will fight and die protecting our pride. The wars over, time to bring these men and women home. How about a New York welcome? Confetti flying ! Hell throw money !
