Hello darkness, my old friend! 🍂
The clocks went back today, so it’s rather fitting that this year’s Ash//Holly Halloween Film collaboration discusses the changing of time!
For the past few years @thenagundotree has gathered the last of the local crop and created a story to showcase the flowers of harvest time. It’s a project of passion which previously we’ve themed in line with weddings, however this year the inspiration came from the turning of light. 🌚
Ash’s concept tackles the moment when British summer time comes to an end and the dark nights draw in. This time often brings struggle for many of us, and so the characters Brightness and Darkness are born. Ash’s inspiration and the tender meaning beneath the clown-cross Tim Burton inspired characters has resulted in this almost slapstick comic showcasing wearable florals.
