Yeongja looks amazing! I don't know why people talk about her weight so much. I think she is beautiful.

Parents some times forgets that child also can be abused emotionally by not talking or not making time to them. I cried a lot when watching it, specially because I've worked with several kids that were abused psychically, sexually and emotionally, and sometimes the kids that were teased by words or parents they were always too busy were worse conditions than a kid that was sexually abused, etc. It breaks my heart that the father will probably not change, it's not because he doesn't want to but it's more because of the fact that he didn't have a father so he doesn't know exactly how to be one, and his mother was probably always out too, working and doing other things to raise him up, so even the father needs psychological treatment. I hope someone would help the family, so they could grow stronger and happier as a family.

I don't think it's really so much about the looks as it is about their rules on paying respects. Part of their culture is knowing when to be formal (like in action and speech) based on age, position and relationships. Maybe within the company they learn to adjust among themselves. But like the bus incident, the rest of the society may look down upon their bosses and the company when they perceive that proper respect is not being practiced.

golbinnom I say is really hard to understand that everyone knows that they have soem kinds of things that is very different from another places. Is like soemtimes I just can understand how the culture can thing that...and of course like everywhere have a lot of kinds of people.

Aaaaahh I felt sooo bad for the guy on second concern! I mean they came with concern that he looks so old, and gets treated like an ahjussi.. But what if that was you? He stayed so quiet and didn't tell what he really thinks. I think he also would feel better if he would be more handsome and if he would look young..instead they have problem because he looks old. I would be so sad if I were to look like 20 times older than my age and have all my friends around me have problems because of me.. I just felt so sad for him, at least he doesn't look like he is depressed about it yet

My eyes got teary when Shin Dongyup taught the rookie in first concern to win at papper-rock-scissor game. I always adore the way Shin Dongyup treats people who sent their concern in this show

What a touching show, especially with Seulgi and her dad, who has lost touch with the family he works so hard to provide for. I wish we had a show like this in the USA. I love this show!

True sadly, which is why I never watch those shows, that have no value, except to destroy the mores of American People.

i think the last concern is one of sad realities in the world, my tears just flow naturally watching that, it's kinda remind me of my dad, even my mom once told me that there was time i didn't recognize him and i cried while he was holding me, many parents think that making money is everything but for their children developmental, affection is important too, at least just focus on them (play, talk, skinship affection, etc.) on parent's time off even it's just for a short time

He can't understand. In his mind, everything he's doing is for his family so what's the problem. Providing for his family and ensuring a financially stable life for them is great but he needs to spend time with his wife and kids. Many fathers are like him. They think because they cover the financial part, the mental, emotional and physical part is not as important. I think he should start by spending at least one hour with his kids after coming from work.

That's a fair statement in this case. However, in many other cases, the men did have a father growing up and end up doing the same as the father in the concern.

I was hoping to see ZE:A soon! It's true that he have a very nice butt ;) I dislike the senior for the 1st concern. The man that looks older could settle off with wig and i'm very dissapointed with SeulGi's dad for the last concern! I cried just to see how mature thought SeulGi has for a 10 yr old. He better starts to change before it keep worsen the family!

Money comes and goes, but memories stay with you for a lifetime; good or bad. Even when I get caught up on bad situations in life, I look back at the happy times and the love I've received from my family to keep me going. Hwaiting to the father's wife and beautiful children!

It's really sad reality, seeing 3grade children saying things like what Seulgi said. The father loves his family, he just to change the way of thinking and work attitude. I kinda understand him, bcs he works since he's just lil boy and grew up with no father. He hasn't had role model or someone who can he look up for. Hope everythings now goes well for his family :)

He has never had a father figure in his life that's probably why he doesn't know how to properly show affection. No matter what you say money and work is important. Can you even grasp how hard it is too support a family of 5 on your own in South Korea? You can't simply judge him of these few minutes you saw him. I haven't married yet, but i always tell my girlfriend to hit me if when we got married, i got too absorb in my work and abandon my own family

It's great that he's working but as the saying goes, too much of anything is bad. There are certain things money can't buy and family is high up on that list. He's making all this money but his family are too neglected and unhappy to even be able to enjoy it. What's the point of making money and working hard 'for your children' when you can't even remember their birthday and fail to buy them even the smallest of presents or take them out?! I understand his mindset since he was abandoned by his dad but in never creating time for them, he's also depriving his family of his presence. If it went on like this, at some point he'll look back and wonder why he worked so hard when he has no semblance of a relationship with his wife or children. There'll be no one to share the money with.

When 10year little girl said that dad should remove the nail in my heart not drive in it is really sad and it hurts too.I sincerely wish and hope that he will change and give more attention towards his family spend time with wife and daughters and son. If he doesn't change his attitude he can't close the distance that has grown between him and his children as well as his wife. I think the family needs counseling from expert too.I hope seulgi you can spend more time with your dad.

I understand the dad,but him just working all the time makes his children looks like and grow up w/o a father It seems like the father is just doing some financial support and that makes his children relieve the same experience he had growing up without an actual dad

koreans, i think that their whole lives are bounded by protocols ie; having to respect one's elders and seniors etc. Its way too rigid. However, there are some advantages- children will grow up to be more respectful towards the old . Anyway, that senior sunbae has a lot of street smarts and are kinda clever, the dongsaeng/hoobae looks a little bit naive and dull witted. I don't think he's stupid he's just too naive for people like his senior. I don't believe the sunbae's vow to stop betting-he looked like someone good at deceiving and tricking people out of their money or anything else and the hoobae is dumb/naive enough to play onto his tricks. So its a never ending cycle. never ends

For the third concern, I kind understand the dad point of view, he grew up without a dad and he probably saw how his mom worked hard to raise him. He only knows the financial part of the family because he never had the the chance to experience an emotional connection with his father. I really hope he can take some time off to be with his family. Too much of something is not good and like seulgi said they won't starve if he only takes 1 day off. I hope there will be a follow up on this concern on the next episode.

spoiler alert: that last concern touched my heart and it's so honest and raw...even i didn't believe he'll change when she said he lies but i saw a tiny shred of hope since he came on the show, that must mean something even though it's hard to believe him...i hope the last concern touched a lot of people who works a lot that they don't make room for family or friends, work isn't everything...i would totally shriek inside if hoyoung was talking to me and patting my arm lol weird jealousy towards seulgi i know T_T

I understand where the father is coming from. Working day and night to make sure his family is fed and stable but at the end of the day money isn't worth more than love. I was initially pissed off because of his attitude! Like how the hell do you consider work more important than family?! I'm all in my feelings because I NEVER went to bed at night feeling unloved! My parents work their asses off but still made time for me so when I see an innocent growing child not getting the same treatment I just get so infuriated. If all he wanted to do was make money then he shouldn't have had kids in the first place, or at least had the kids later in life when he had saved whatever amount he think the children needed! But moving forward, I pray that those poor girls and that cute son of his begin to recieve the love they are rightfully owed. Such an emotional essay, looool but it had to be said!
