It made me so mad when he was saying that it's fine to smoke because everyone seemed healthy. Just because you child doesn't have asthma today doesn't mean she's not going to develop it tomorrow. That's like saying you're 600 lbs but it's perfectly healthy since you haven't had a heart attack yet.

it's alright fam when things get you really worked up it's only natural to rant abt them! and god do I understand your feelings on this. truly a "selfish people" special, at least as far as the first two concerns go...though the irresponsible mother doesn't come anywhere near close the smoking dunce (like, at least she's open to trying to changing her habits and while selfish she does understand why what she's doing is wrong and has some sort of excuse --- many mothers can develop a sort of fear of handling their own kids post-partum). it's been three days since I saw this episode and I'm STILL fuming when I remember him. urgh. just. his wife and kids deserve so much better than this...beyond-pitiful manchild.

What I love about their program is they stay frank without being obviously angry about it. Meaning they can carry it out so well. That way, it won’t be too much to the point where they will fight each other. They are good at keeping their temper and controlling themselves. Not many programs outside their country can be like this, especially in mine. I applaud them for hosting this show so well.

Damn I cried when Hwasa started crying during that case with the WOMAN who didn’t HeLP her dad take care of her OWN child😒

I don't get why this is so hard for people to understand, it's okay for everyone to have preferences. If the one you married suddenly changed how they look completely so you don't get attracted anymore it's a huge deal. You can't control what you are attracted to. He voiced his concern and got to hear her side as well and why she changed. Isn't that what this show is about? This type of problem is much more suited for this show than the heavy problems they don't know how to deal with. When you love a person and decide to marry them, you marry them for everything about them, not just their physical appearance (usually its just a bonus). It's not like her change of lifestyle affected the family negatively. Also, as the wife explained, working out was her way of escaping her depression. The husband couldn't even tell she was depressed, which definitely says something about him. If he can't stand it, then he should just leave her.

I even addressed your second point lol, this is what the show is good for. He got to hear her side of why she changed. You are just being angry because you like the moral high ground to a different culture. Korea is behind the west in mental care, their solution to being depressed is literally stop being that you have no reason. This is basically what doctors say there, then you come in here on your high horse and tell him off for not knowing that and that he should fuck off from his children because of it. He came on the show because he want to solve it and wanted to know more of why, so fucking stupid telling two children they should lose their dad because he wanted to solve some problems.

What if her Dad passes away, there will be no one to look after her children.

Hwasa was really angry at the second woman who forced her dad to take care of her child because she's really close to her father. If you watch I live alone, you can see them holding hands and talking. She's really sweet to her parents so it must have been hard for her to see the daughter being so selfish

Irene, Shuhua, Jessi and Mamamoo should all have an episode together. They would destroy this person's career in seconds.

I'm surprised this wife hasn't divorced this smoking addicted man already. He seems so inconsiderate of others even his own family and uses his own personal experiences to defend himself from continuing to smoke... I can't... This is exactly the type of men that need to live on their own

jongxae // yeah k understand that it would be a whole long process. But as you've seen from the show, the man smoking was also putting their children's lives in danger. So what's worse: going through a divorce process (and she would most likely get custody of her children because the father shows that he is unfit to raise them in a healthy environment) or keep them constantly surrounded by smoke which can lead to health problems? I'm definitely not an avid supporter of divorce, but in this situation, it seems like she and her children definitely need a break from such a heartless husband and father.

Yes I did hear it too! It was so cute 🥰❤ I saw cuz I've been pausing the video a lot and instead of a 1H 15M it took me about 15min. more to finish. I replayed some clips again since I want to see everyones interactions in the show. It makes me happy that the people with problems are now solved or were opened up to be solve in the future 😊

They all looked pissed. I swear, I'm convinecd that Wheein was laughing at times because if not she would've been crying. Solar looked like she wanted to smash her cushion onto the first guest face. Hwasa and Moonbyul couldn't believe what they were seeing. I honestly relate to all of them because I ended up soooo mad while watching

he's abusive. he does what he wants with no regard for other people, and when his wife doesn't abide by it, he pulls the trigger with his misogynistic beliefs and makes it seem like it's his wife's fault.

I am a non-Korea and I love this show. Can totally relate. This shows lift up caring and make people better. I believe that the show could stop some suicidal thoughts and depressions too. Good shows with goo hosts and good advices. ;)

Watching this, I a thankful for my dad. He quit smoking on his own when I turned 5 years old. He did it for me and my elder brother after being a heavy smoker more than 10 years.

This was one of the rare eps where you could tell Taegyun was ready to fight. LOL

I was watching it first because of Mamamoo, but I have never been so frustrated watching Hello Counselor. Like the first two concerns were unbelievable. I thought people like them existed in dramas or movies. The husband and the mother (1st and 2nd concern, respectively) were really frustrating. They both have these warped up beliefs that made me speechless. They're both unconsiderate to others. Not saying that I am better, but still. Sorry for the wrong grammar lol English is not my first language.

the first guy was seriously rude and wrong. he puts his personal benefits before his family and has huge double standards about smoking and gender roles. not only is he rude but he is extremely sexist as well. the fact that he had the audacity to spew out sexist things in national television and not be bothered by the countless people who were offended is insane. i really hope that the family gets better, he seems like a person who is nice but if nothing changes, the family really needs to rethink some things.

He isn't nice. He's a manipulative sexist dick who lured a nice person into his trap with no way out. No person can be that deceptively nice to just turn on a head as soon as he puts a ring on it. Her own family didn't even know of his true colors until the wife finally spoke up, the brother's reaction is not of a person who has already seen the shittiest of this man. It's the reaction of realization that she really has no way out of this situation, especially with the fact she's tied down with two kids.

The woman on the 2nd concern... she went out for a drink with her friends while she knew her baby was sick. If we call 119, they would say "It's clearly a case of child abuse." She's just lucky to have her parents with her because they could bring their grandchild to the hospital but... if a neighbor called this service, they could arrest her (or, put the child in security far away from her)

Wheein laughing at that idiot when he said "but I'm the breadwinner!" was fantastic.
