that sister is crazy…I mean it does suck to be short sometimes…not being able to reach stuff, pants being too long, weight showing more, and not being able to see when tall people stand in front of you but it's not that big a deal. I've never had anyone look down on me…ok almost everyone has to look down on me but that's because I'm 152cm. At least being short means you can wears heels and never worry about being taller than your guy :D

good observation. i was gonna say possibly *Persian* (from *Iran* ). his name (@7:10) has origins in Turkish/Persian/Kurdish language; especially his 1st name, *Arsalan* . plus, there is also a large # of Iranians that immigrated to Germany in the 1980s. their kids would all be around his age right now; mid-to-late 20s, getting married, etc.

In the last case, the sister somehow reminds me of BB daesung. Not her looks, but the way she talks.

The 1st concern, its obvious the wife doesnt respect her husband at all, just because hes from another country and doesnt know abt korea or korean culture, doesnt mean the wife can do anything towards him. I hope the german guy leave her, or divorce her, so she learns something abt respect. Ckck

I see no evidence of that whatsoever. After watching 100's of concerns on this show, she treats him better than I've seen many Koreans treat their own Korean children, parents or spouses. It's not about where he's from, she's just remarkably inconsiderate. Her own Korean mother, sitting right next to her, is also put to work and she's sick! Nothing to do with country of origin whatsoever.

I started laughing on the last concern. The sister is caring yet so funny. I am also small and sometimes wish that I am tall, but it's not a big issue for me. I just accepted it and thankful to God for what i have.

+Tess Tran Hmm. I could've sworn it was episode 113. Oh wait a minute...I don't think you can find it on KZread. I actually just watched it on a Korean drama website because you could only watch it on TV when it was broadcasted. When I tried to find it on KZread, there was a video that was titled "Cursed Genes" and it was the part about the mother and her daughter with blue eyes. However it was age restricted for no apparent reason and I couldn't watch it. If you go on the internet and search up the episode though, it should come up. If not, search it up on an Asian drama web. Plenty of them have the episode (at least I'm pretty sure). I'm really sorry about that! I should've warned you before! My apologies.

The sister pisses me off. I feel like she blames it on her height, but I feel like it's really her personality. It was funny at first, because she was confident. HOwever, as the show progressed, it got really annoying. She still doesn't know how stressful it is for her brother still.

I love it when Shin Dong Yup notices sth and they show a lightning or a light bulb or an exclamation mark and then he says sth really funny

I'm 13 and 150cm . Most of my friends are taller than me . Most of my senior always call me like " Hey shortie !" and sometimes they make fun of me . I often go for events , they always ask me if i'm still in my primary school . It's really frusting . But now i'm really grateful that i'm short because i can still look younger than my friends . Take it positive .

so understand the sister's concern because I am short too (156cm), how daily household chores become difficult for us and how we are teased. But I don't have a complex because of that....!!! And aren't boys meant to grow naturally taller than girls...what she is doing is actually too much...!!!

Who is to say that someone else is short? Everyone has their own standards.... for instance I'm turning 20 (21 in korean age) and in around 170cm. Other people might say I'm short or tall for a female, I say average. It's only th your opinion that matters

Ppl just take u less seriously when u're short & don't take authority from u. I'm 148cm & doing my final years hospital rotations for med school. I get treated & mistaken for a first yr all the time & patients always find it hard to talk to me at first (it's weird telling ur medical problem to some1 that looks like a 14 yr old). It's really hard trying to be that big protective person that patients instantly feel like they can trust. BUT I still never give up & try my best to gain their trust

''still you shouldn't make him do the housework'' Why? Korean still have the concept of housewife and manly husband. That's one of the things that make it hard for me to enjoy this show. They made it clear, they still split work. She does what ''a husbands do''. So what's the big deal with the man doing housework? That's so frustrating

Yuki Chan Well agree, but actually i also saw a lot of couples in "Hello Counselor", where the man does everything (cook, clean, taking care of the kids) and the wife works a lot, but is lazy at home. I guess it depends.

***** Yeah and that is usually the reason why they're on the show. Because the wife acting like the man does usually is a concern. Never saw a wife asking the husband to not be lazy at home, ''since they work and they're tired anyway''. There are some episodes where the problem would be a mom who doesn't care about her kids but all they can focus on is ''you should clean and cook, why do you let that to your husband'' Of course it's not every single family but the general idea they have is still clear and annoying...

Yuki Chan​​​ Well it's just a variety show. Don't take it too serious. Most topics are not even that serious because they are comedians, not professional therapists. A lot of Korean men can cook and clean the house. Especially the younger generation. That the wife has to do the house chorus like cooking and the husband has to work will always be a subject, because it was a normal thing for a very long time, no matter Asian or Western country. For the older generation it's a bit more difficult to get rid of that mindset. Although I agree that men and women can do both and share the housekeeping chorus and work.
