I am so sorry to see that you're still getting some atagonistic comments from people. Getting another pet after one dies *IS NOT AND NEVER HAS BEEN REPLACING THEM.* Anyone with that mentality is just... immature beyond words.

Yea I had a hamster that died and now I have a new one and I didn't aim to replace her after 1 or 2 years i just felt like getting a pet and I have one so you are very right in that point if something dies don't replace it and it never is replacing unless the owner says they are

My hamster died a couple weeks ago and I was super depressed. My therapist actually suggested I get a new one to help me move on. I’ll always love my last hamster and nothing could ever replace him, but I’m going to love my new hamster all the same.

Normally people get another animal of the same animal to help the loss of the old one, it isnt replacing it's more of to help, and people also just love having animals around too-

Buzzy Herbert vanilla actually died in June, hence the large gaps in uploads on this channel. The recent videos were just clips put together of old footage.

Buzzy Herbert some people grieve differently, like if anything dies I have to get a new one, I’m not replacing it, it’s just how I am or forever there will be a gap. And it has actually been a while since vanilla died

While I was watching your videos on KZread, I wa saleays worried that something like this would happen. That since hamsters only have a very short lifespan, then eventually Vanilla May shortly and also very sadly, pass away. But I am also very happy and glad that you found another new hamster and also congrats on getting “ Butterscotch”. I hope that you enjoy him or her, and cherish them forever. Thanks.
