Damals war Berlin noch Lebens und Liebenswert. Was habe ich ein Glück zu dieser Zeit dort meine Jugend verbracht zu haben.
The woman on the bike who introduces the film is Ingrid Steeger. Born in 1947, she started her career as actress in soft core adult movies. In the 1970’s she shifted her acting towards comedy and became one of Germany’s biggest stars of the 70’s, mainly know for her appearance as comedian in the Saturday night program “Klimbim”. She also played lead roles in TV series and appeared in TV commercials. She died last year impoverished (her various and often abusive husbands burnt through her fortune).

Thank you for the information. What a beauty she was! 💖 May she rest in peace.
I've been to Berlin three times, 1999, 2005,2009. Always a joy!
After watching this video, I can maybe now relate a bit more to JFK’s quote, “Ich bin ein Berliner”
So interesting, even if i can't understand a word lol

It's about all the attractiveness of West Berlin. It was a very cool place to be, but people from West Germany were scared to go there as it was isolated in the middle of East Germany. Europe's best kept secret at the time, but they did try to promote it to West Germans, like here.

Autsch.
Ach Ingrid, wat warste für ne Zuckerschnecke...🥰
This seems to have been made at the same time as the other Berlin video you uploaded a few months back trying to entice people in "mainland" West Germany to *move* there.
