This is so tragic, not because Caine made everyone disappear, but because he most likely has no idea how horrifying his actions are. He means well, but he doesn't understand the loss his performers feel. He thinks showing them their friends again will make them happy, unintentionally torturing them.

I love how Caine went from being heartwarming and caring on bringing back all of the characters who got abstracted to suddenly making them all go away. Because we learn as an AI he can do basically anything in this world and Pomni’s expression at the end defines basically everything that happened.

This should honestly be a real episode, like near the end of the season. It's such a great concept and it perfectly gives off a feeling of hopelessness

given the recent release of ep2, caine's actions are now more accurate

Wow, this could be a good concept for an episode of the amazing digital circus. I know the creator said that once a character is abstracted it can't be detransformed but it would be great if that was the case everything is an illusion and nothing is really real, the animation was really incredible everything very fluid and beautiful and like everyone in They were in groups of two and the jokes that were formed in those groups were very funny, I definitely loved it. :3

What a gut punch. This feels perfectly in character for Caine, though. Dude just keeps trying to give the humans what they want without having any real understanding of WHY they want them.

So true. But this Is the digital circus. At the end of the episodes, they would usually either feel ok, bad, or worse. Most of the time it's OK because it's over and they're rewarded, but other times... the reward just isn't worth it.

Bro your animations are so cool, even the detail of like the edges getting darker when the fixed abstractions disappeared- and Caine would do something like this, like the unintentional cruelty of “alright, you fixed everyone! Now back in the cellar they go since none of this really happened!” Or something like that lol where he’d just make illusions and everyone gets happy but it turns out to be all fake and just part of the adventure

Even how each character would act is perfect, and how they reunite with the abstracted characters is very sweet, great job👏

The scooby doo shenanigans with everyone trying to hide, and Jax finding a way to still troll Pomni was creative as heck.

The animation in this is amazing, but I have to say that ending is just heartbreaking. As I feel this is something that would be in The Amazing Digital Circus if they do an episode with the other abstracted characters.
