I've always admired Hellen Obiri, she started as 800m athlete, she went on to 1500m, 5000m, 10000m, half marathon and now a champion in full marathon. Thank you so much for giving us hope in life that you can achieve everything.

Met obiri and shelly ann prise in doha 2019 IAAF they are very humble superstars, as a kenyan I was proud of her as she was the highlight of the day, we were taken on her limousine to Sheraton away from cameras, then we were able to talk freely, we had a 3 hour talk and she was just from winning her 5k, we went together to sheraton she freshened up and immediately came for dinner, the reception she was given there is of a queen, as kenyans we don't appreciate our athletes as much, damn

There is no "best" Kenyan runner. They're so many champions and all are amazing and more young ones coming up and getting better. There's hundreds of these sportswomen and men in Kenya.
