The fact a weapon can come out with different stats than it's supposed to and take a month to fix is no laughing matter, it's a show of utter incompetence like most of the programming related issues of this game, arrowhead are great designers but disastrous developers.
You can one-shot striders to the leg or hip joint with the AMR. It kills the pilot too. The exposed mid-section of devastators is the second best and easier to hit unarmored weakspot on bots. Their legs are armor lvl 2 (light) and require less shots than to chest for breaking, making their lower body a better overall target for light penetration weapons in situations where there's little time for accuracy. Also, the grenade pistol has to be shot where the aiming circle rests at the bottom edge of the vent. Higher ground helps.

The pilot won't die if you aren't the network session host similar to the DoT bug before it was fixed, but it doesn't matter too much here in takibos case because he's playing solos anyways

Vitality booster gives you the health of roghly one their higher armor as well as a head health boost to any armor, so it makes medium work like heavy and so on. The stamina however only gives you the stamina boosts of around a one-tier lighter armor without the better speed. So if you want a mix of health and stamina, light or medium armor with the vitality booster are a more efficient combo than heavy with the stamina booster. Heavy armor of 150 takes away 60% speed and 20% stamina while only providing a roughly 40% boost to health over the base 50 light armors, whereas the medium of 100 only takes about 20% speed and 10% stamina for a roughly 25% boost to health over light. So heavy doesn't provide as much health as it takes from speed, and if you aren't bringing the heaviest armors of 200, you won't survive one-shot rocket headshots or two-tap heavy munition headshots. So unless you bring the CHUNK with vitality, you might as well run Democracy Protects and pray for survivability.

The vitality booster is even better than you say. It gives you a flat .8 multiplier to damage, giving you closer to heavy armor while wearing light armor, as far as effective health is concerned.

The heavy armor takes roughly 40% less damage than light. Which essentially means your effective hp is ≈40%, not 15

Heavy armor does also reduce headshot damage, wheras light and medium do not, so it has the advantage of that, however, the correct strategy for the game is to run medium armor with Extra padding armor perk and then for boosters run vitality for bots and stamina for bugs.

@@krazyivan9733 The correct strat is to match your playstyle. I'm very aggresive against bots and will always benefit more from heavy armor, for example. If you prefer movement and juking enemies fire, go with lighter. Funny thing is, I always run heavy with extra padding and vitality against bots while often being mocked by people who always die more than I do.
Glad AH had a person who actually shot guns before redesign the scopes on most of the guns. Also the removal of the AA modifier is a massive W, the revert on patrols was just the cherry on top for this update

People are pissed about the patrols but their loadouts are suited for more anti big loadouts. Which is fine, but there is more smaller enemies to deal with

@@TheNorthie I'm not sure about it. 2 Bile titans, 4 behemoth chargers and dozens of nursing spewers coming from all directions doesn't seem like small targets. There's literally no weapon that can deal with this amount of spewers the new patch is -spewing- out. Missions where they don't spawn are 5x easier and that's not a balanced gameplay

@@Morcorco maybe it’s due to my loadout but keeping a well rounded loadout: air strike, anti horde and anti big with a flamethrower or arc caster works really well for any situation. I don’t notice any problems or up in difficulty since the patch.

@@TheNorthie I think from looking at a lot of comments about spawns is that they are way broken as you move down in level. I was playing on lvl6 on patch day when I normally play on 9. I wanted a chill environment to test new things and saw more medium and heavies than on helldive pre-patch. It was on bots and I saw waaay more rocket units ragdolling me, 4x more headshot kills, and more or the same amount of factory striders as helldive each mission.
This last update was amazing bringing back so much fun to the game.

@@rude_wredne Which I'm sure will be addressed at some point. I don't mind the change as much since I forgot Charger Behemoths were even a thing (I also run with flamethrower or quasar for bugs so chargers are never really a problem anyway).

@@charger9912 please, the patrols/spawns are broken as fuck now. Maybe even more than before because they increased behemoth spawns which takes 2 AT shots to bring down. Its just.. exhausting. You turn a corner - 2 behemoths. Bug breach, another 2 behemoths. Patrol? hell yea, 2 behemoths. *sigh* it is not fun

Yeah, right at the top of the legs before they meet the main body. Always one shots unless you're off from flinching or something else.

Came here to say this. Obviously if you’re under pressure it’s easier to aim for the main shielded part, just because it’s bigger, but the legs aren’t exactly difficult to hit either.

@@damienmcdonald7610 Eh, it ain't that hard tbh, you can even use a stun grenade to make it easier if need be, just takes some practice and you'll get really good with it. With only 7+1 in the mag the body shots can rapidly get you into a reload which is certainly not optimal when multiple enemies are coming at you.
I’ve been seeing the question mark around on bot missions lately. Used to be a tiny little thing, I’d sometimes mistake it for a glowing plant. But yeah they’ve started getting huge
i am glad that an AH engineer is actually streaming himself playing the game. We can just ask him to play a specific weapon and have him realize what's wrong with it. Much better than complaining on discord/steam discussions

Thank you for showing this off. I'm slowly making my way through the update and the buff to the HMG had been my favorite, but after trying this today I think this might be what I'm happiest about. It's right up there with the JAR for me as far as go-to primaries against the bots.
yknow if the turrets had like an aiming system, maybe it targeting with priority onto targets with player pings. something like that would be dope

Been running the new Tendy with the AMR this update too. It’s a great combo that covers up close and distant targets simultaneously . Hopefully superior packing gets fixed cuz I run out of ammo with the AMR pretty often with the bots. Cheers dude, love your videos. Been loving the new stim booster along with medic armor. Zoom zoom. Not a great option for solo play tho sadly.

Tried it against the bots, but still very much prefer the Sickle. The "mag size" of the Sickle and the TTK of terminators with it is just unbeatable. For everything else, there's the autocannon.
I'm loving using the tenderizer with HMG with supply backpack lately. For booster you really got to try the new stims from the viper commando warbond, it turns you into a supersoldier with the increased movement speed and damage reduction, couple that with medic armor and it feels really solid.

Tank patrols were a thing pre patch. They are rare on high difficulties - but are more frequent on lower ones. Same thing with chargers aswell.
I find the tenderizer a lot easier to aim when taking height over bore into account, you can usually see the green dot of the laser when aiming in first person, it's a decent indicator. Between that and the scope reticule is roughly where the barrel is, at long ranges this is less of an issue
FYI it’s in your favor to destroy bases. Patrols spawn within a certain area of a randomly chosen base, and move towards players. If you destroy all of the outposts, then they spawn from the nearest map edge. It makes it much easier to avoid patrols and you can prevent patrol spawns if you’re 65m or less from the map edge.
The burst-fire tenderizer feels like the Halo 2 BR imo

sadly the spear cant lock fabricators atm until its fixed. the lock on is wonderful now but it cant be used to stealth clear maps until they fix that lol

With that armor, the vitality booster is pretty epic IMO. Much more survivable, even without the shield pack. I run like fat, drunk turtle, but I love soaking up shots from the bots without dying. I wonder about those big question marks too. I usually see them on narrow paths over water. Very puzzling.
A buff that they can do to the sentries is that when you ping an enemy, it should force the turret to break its current lock and target what you’ve pinged. Also, they should just make it so that they can’t target fabricators.
should try out the judicator dosent do as much damage as the tenderizer but with a damage of 80 and medium armor pen and an extra mag makes it more viable for me
For the sentry, against bot, only mortar shine because all the other one: if they can shoot, the bot can (and will) shoot them. It's the other way against bug (because the bug rush you, the mortar will kill you but the other one will be really powerfull)
They needed to sell those Polar Patriots Warbonds, as it was the lowest selling Warbond.

I've been really loving the Adjudicator for bugs since the patch. Was good before but the mag increase and durable damage deletes everything. Good for solo.
Against bots I like vitality or the new experimental stim booster from the warbond. You're going for an extremely tanky loadout so stamina might assist your speed 👍
Favorite booster I'll make sure always gets picked? Vitality always. It's just so much survivability, especially against bots which can burst pretty hard.
If you're using AMR on striders, aim for their "thigh." It usually one shots them!

If you shoot where the leg connects to the main chasse of the strider with the AMR it will kill it in one shot. Learned it the other day and its great one shotting the striders.
I know it's not the best, but the new AR that we got with the new warbond is also really fun on heavy builds

I like the feeling when shooting but i don't like to have to reload every 20 sec , it's breaking the flow imo
Strider tip for AMR enjoyer: Shoot the hinge connecting the leg and the body. This will cripple the strider but the pilot will survive so remember to tap them A downside to this method is that the pilot might be a commissar and it can call a dropship, thus it's advisable to use this if you're low on ammo I call this method "Your car warranty has expired"
I personally don't think heavy armor should have any flinch at all, it's bad enough that you just get mobbed by everything that can run at you due to slow speed, in termanids you get rushed nonstop, in bots you cant get to cover nearly as fast enough or you just get ragdolled to death anyway.
I'd love it if heavy armor passively gave you resistance against stagger, pretty weird that it doesn't lol. But a booster for stagger would be amazing, I'd bring that for bots all the time
You mentioned boosters. For bots *and* bugs, I do like to run Vitality. Its description isn't really clear, but it does increase health by a good bit which is nice, especially coupled with the Fortified Commando armor. You can survive some silly things, get up, and stim your health back.
Semi auto firing mode on this weapon is extremely hype. Super fun weapon to use.

Makes me really happy using it as a halo fan because it feels like I'm using a battle rifle. I really hope they don't think they overdid it and nerf it because it's perfect to me.
Been really loving the tenderizer.
I like running medium medic armour against bots so my default booster is hellpod optimisation. spawning with 6 stims that each last almost twice as long makes it easier to stim squadmates and makes you very hard to kill.
They still haven't removed the flag for enemies / fabricators with too high armor rating for turrets to damage, so while turrets are perfectly fine 90% of the time, you have to be conscientious of that placement specifically, and personally deal with stuff it might ineffectually stick to. Machinegun Turret in particular is so much better with its shorter cooldown, it makes a handy distraction, or a good partner for another turret, to wrangle control back of a chaotic situation, or soften up your approach into something you know is going to be a mess while you focus on obj or the big boys in the crowd while everything gets distracted in a direction of your choosing.
The ballistic shield trivializes a lot of the bots, as long as you have a sidearm that can deal with medium armor like the grenade pistol.
The Localization Booster works for both enenmies but with the bots, I feel it works better. Get way less instances than without having it on. Or that Booster with the heart Logo to survive those rocket hits.
Against bugs the Tenderizer is actually pretty good. It does 95 damage (basically the same as the MG) so it takes out warriors, hunters, those little guys in 1-3 bullets, and even handles brood commanders and stalkers fairly well. Its super low recoil combined with the new weapon handling armor perk makes it a frickin laser beam.
this gun and autocannon will be goated too
useing the scope zoom in function helps with aiming

I was running that armor after they botched the spawns last time when I was relearning bots with squads after being a solo scout player! Maybe I should revisit it
For bots i usually have to go Stamina because heavy armor is too fat but for bugs i use the terain booster as it helps with slow poisons

Just out of curiosity, what do you have your guns sighted at? I usually have mine zoomed to max range, but I'm not sure it's the best.
So, nobody seems to have mentioned yet that the full reload from the supply drop for support weapons isn't working now.
i've actually started using the tendy for devastators as well, it 2 shots to to their head and its easy cause its so accurate

Auto cannon sentry still targets fabs b4 anything else so i suggest getting rid of the fabs b4 using it so it doesn't dump all its rounds on it
The autocannon sentry was shooting at the spawner because it had at least one enemy in it, which grabbed the sentry's attention. If you popped the spawner it would have resumed targeting active threats. It's a known issue but yet to be fixed, obviously.
i feel like having reduced stagger should be a medium/heavy armor perk with the reduced recoil while crouch or prone combined.
This is my new go to primary against bots.
You can 1shot Striders with the AMR if you hit them in the leg joint. Just so you know. Saw you blasting their front plate for a 3shot

We really need the ability to use samples to upgrade individual support weapons. I really want an extended mag on my AMR. 7 in a mag is feeling weak against all these hordes right now.

Yo, you can one shot striders with a round to the thigh of either leg. Sometimes the driver falls out andnsurvives, but usually its a one tap

A booster of speed reload would be goat.
I feel like I pick the Tenderizer up from dead teammates more than any other weapon, except for maybe the Breaker Incendiary & the Eruptor.
Shoot the top part of strider legs with AMR to one shot them.
What is the point if it doesn't penetrate medium armor? If it's supposed to be an add/chaff clearer then it would have benefited far more from increased mag size than damage...
Rocket sentry is actually amazing vs gunships, problem is it maybe takes down one and then instant dies to them most of the time. Instead of having 2 ship upgrades for sentry survivabilty that together take them from being oneshots...to being oneshots, they shouldve just have one that gives them the equivalent of the shield backpack imo.

Heavy armor should have less flinch than light armor. AH really need to add this.
If you haven't already, you should give the DCS a go instead of scorcher. It has almost no sound and the refreshed scopes make ir fantastic at clearing things out at distance.

My favorite boost for bots is definitely health, that makes 80% of insta death just another chance to heal. More are the players skilled and exponentially it is a better boost then Increased Reinforcement Budget which i suggest more to less then great helldivers. Am i saying with that I am a great helldiver ? No i dont, but i wanna try to be one.
Its now one of the best shotguns
I feel it needed that extra 5 shots in the clip. I use it with burst and still find myself out of ammo often. But at least it's a whole lot better than it originally was
I know you got flinched when trying to grenade pistol the tank vents, but it might not have worked anyway. Remember in this patch they now check for explosion direction on the vents.
The amount of staggers/Rag doll's you can get constantly with no immunity can get quite aggrevating ngl maybe a rag doll booster is in the works or armour passive? I feel Heavy armour should have an stagger immunity passive or something. 🙃

No, they should get rid of flinch if they are going to make the bots as accurate as they did for this patch. They are allowed to snipe us while being shot, but we have to follow the realism rules is bs.

They need to put a timer on the ragdoll effect, like 6 seconds.
I know its been said, but its a good idea to shoot the striders thighs to one shot with amr; and to blow a fab up first before throwing a sentry. You could also try throwing it further back or to the side with enemies between it and the fab so it targets them instead

Whenever you shoot the faceplate on the Walkers and not the hips I'm like REEEE WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING THE HEAVIEST ARMORED PART??? Anyways yeah Tenderizer rocks now :3
