The churchhill and Cromwell could never engage a tiger frontally so considering it’s a video game it’s best to have the firefly for balance reasons

Great shooting, specially that kil at 10" behind the hill, that was amazing; booth new maps seem very good for tanking.

Couldn't play with the Firefly yet, but had 2 or 3 really good matches with the Brit Light. So far, all good with the Brits!

10:20 EPIC! (Btw the range lines on the left and right are accurate for shells/MG respectively) [at least, for shooting directly at a target, not really accurate for shooting over a hill at something you can't even see lmao]

Plus the Bren gun is almost unusable with how bad the recoil is and not being able to deploy the bipod.

@jon8727 the Bten, BAR, and DP27 should all have their bipods be deployable while in MG class. In the automatic rifleman class sure, remove it. The devs really missed it with this update.

The guns feel like they shoot a slight to the left

After the first couple of minutes, the audio and video drift apart by about 25 seconds. Pls fix :)

do you get points for repairing whilst your crew is mopping up yet? i used to lose so many doing that as driver

New update is sooooo dope on ps5, feels generally better in every way as far as running and movement goes.

Love the added speed to the running. Really pulls me into a sim immersion watching a MG gunner zig zag up a mountain top going 10mph on foot. Eff sakes. Battlefield anyone

Well nobody would play if it www historically accurate. German tigers and panthers would just sit up on a hill and pound British faction into dust all day long. Have to sacrifice balance with accuracy. The British tanks cost to much. The firefly should cost half what a tiger costs in fuel munitions

They got the dates wrong on the maps. The first and second battles of El Alamein were fought in 1942. Driel was a village in the Battle of Arnhem, which took place in 1944. In the game it says 1942. I think they swapped the dates on the two maps by accident.

Its because the tank has the same mechanics as the Sherman, so they could push it out without any real effort. Creating and designing the Churchill woulda been too much work forthem.

Hey I would really like to hear your opinion on the Cromwell. So far I find it doesnt get stuck everywhere like the Panzer IV and the medium Sherman do and the low profile can be a great asset but I would like to hear from someone with more experience in tanks in HLL.

I loved the Cromwell when using it. Got into a front to front fight with a tiger and won! Superior crew wins.

The firefly is classed as a medium tank I'm pretty sure. How come they didn't introduce the Churchill IV as the heavy tank, anyone know?

If they really introduced Churchill, it would only have a 6 pounder, which makes it another jumbo 75. Do you really want that? :)

It feels suck as Firefly driver when some infantry just pops up and you can do nothing.

Driving the firefly is not fun

Its weird seeing panthers and fireflies duking it out a few years before they ever entered service 😅. Would love to see era accurate vehicles for the maps, though it'd probably be a headache for the dev team

Thats because the M4A4 VC Firefly was used as a Tank Destroyer, not a tank. when the tank was converted into a VC Firefly, the Hull bow machine gunner had to be removed to create more space for the larger .17lbs shells.

@@SteveRood1 oh yeah, I mean the historical model doesn’t have an MG, so I get that’s why. But.. as far as playability, the only heavy being that vulnerable to infantry, AND having maneuverability on par with the IS-1, they took the Mg off the BA-10, I feel like they should’ve done something different. Churchill tank, or maybe make the firefly cheaper? Idk, it’s probably the weakest tank in the game for its cost and spot

If we go full historical accuracy, the Germans would absolutely destroy every faction every time. They need to make the Firefly cost the commander 400 fuel, sherman 200, recon tanks should be 25

Tried it yesterday worst heavy tank, it's so damn slow and the turn rate ... even the russian IS is better. Oh yeah and no driver mg 😂 but i like the medium and light tanks from the british

Honestly might be the worst heavy tank. Like the guns good, but the Armor and turn rate are garbage. Would rather be in an IS1, at least it has a bow gun. It just feels like its food for AT guns on El Alamein, and I guess its ok on Driel since its good at climbing, but still can get outplayed hard by P4's

Tanks are maybe the only part I legitimately enjoy in this update. Weapons are horrible, worse than the Russians if you ask me. Also the lag on unoptimised maps are making it even worse.

The British Tanks are absolutely horrid. Low ammo, limited visibility (commander), almost no hull mgs, and worst of all: No mobility. Ah, and the Firefly is such a bad decision for the heavy.

Yeah unbutton the hatch for tank command. He should have a mounted mg on top instead of the driver mg. It would have been a neat experience and balance for no hull mg.

⁠@@phoenixxi9501that’s because it’s designated as a Tank Destroyer. It moves slow because it’s got a massive 17pdr Anti-tank gun, it was so big that they had to put the gun in sideways. As for the drivers machine gun, that was removed to open up space for ammunition due to the sheer size of the shells. In combat they were always accompanied by other tanks to deal with infantry.

The Firefly was used as a Tank destroyer with the most experienced crew available. I played Driel last night for the first time and nailed 2 Panthers from across the embankment, providing overwhelming overwatch for the guys crossing the Bridge.

no complaints about the gun or realism just the game play balance is terrible this thing is a sitting duck while the panther is one of the most nimble tanks in the game

They should of put the British Crusader tank in the desert 🏜 campaign!!! 🙄 😒 😑

This update is a disgrace...cant even give British weapons they a actually used...
