I listened to it 5 times editing it for a friends meme and I thought it said "taking a terminal pee" until i read this comment, this is like 2011 FO:NV mod voice acting

I remember stories my grandpa used to tell me about the war. soldiers clipping into the ground, magazines halfway up the gun, grass not rendering in. M1 Garand rounds piercing the mantels on anti-tank guns, and tanks bouncing around the battlefield like deadly beach balls. These are the things about war that truly mortified me. I respect Team17 for not pulling any punches. Thank god they tell it like it happened so nobody can forget. God Bless

The voices are AI-generated. That's also why the mixing is so bad. They couldn't isolate the tracks.

As a long time HLL player that was actually really embarrasing. Just watched CohhCarnage infront of 15.000+ people reacting to the trailer and both Cohh and chat was like '' what the hell did I just witness? '' Too bad putting that first impression on so many people, for such an amazing game it is.

Because it basically is. Not a different game but a different gamemode. It's the new Objective mode. It's a fraction of the Saint Mere du Mont map with faster gameplay and shorter matches. What you see in this trailer does not affect current warfare mode.

It was over operation Market Garden. The 82nd and 101st landed at night and day. Brothers in Arms Hells Highway was another game that show cased it in the day time.

@Gbrooks 0513 Dud, it's black matter games. You thought they were going to do that, lol. Plus, they had red parachutes on infantry men. They used those mainly for supply drops or resupply boxes. They didn't use red in operation overlord on men but did run out of supplies and used red after D-Day. For infantry drops here and there.

They've been trying to dumb it down for a while. The start of it was all the sales and free weekends to bring in casuals that wouldn't otherwise play, now they're adding smaller game modes. It's quite obvious they're trying to change what the game is to appeal to a wider audience so that T17 gets enough money from their investment. Here's to hoping it's not really the end but man this is BAD.

@@deluxeasshat8547 started with rifles not one shotting from x distance to make it easier on new players. Maybe have a tutorial instead of taking satisfaction from long rifle kills. I sense hardcore / regular servers in the near future. I have my eyes on some upcoming tactical FPS games. HLL isn’t dead, but it has a bitter cancer that there is no hope of curing

Feels like T17 is rushing things to make HLL their new cash cow, and eventually will end up like CoD or WT. Just my thoughts

Today we gather together, in remeberance of our late HLL. A once uniqe and power experience that brought milsim and casual players together in a delicate balance where teamwork and communication were the most important values. June 12th, 2023 she has been laid to rest and will be remembered as one, if not, the greatest WWII gaming experience to-date. May kickstarters and mmnew players alike pay homage to her, as she will be deeply missed. Also that jump kick thing over the wall at 1:18 reminds me of a kid...not a soldier for some reason hahahah It was fun while it lasted boys.

@@herrherr2086 Run speed increase sounds like a good idea to me, I quit playing because it just takes far too long to get anywhere and the map is already huge. People who complain about "run and gun gameplay" just suck at FPS games if you ask me and just want to shoot people at long range to make up for it.

They really are trying to turn this into call of duty I’m starting to think they are just trying to make more money over the actually quality of the game. The trailer says everything about the new take over, what I fear is them trying to pop out a new update every month just like cod or battlefield does which will ultimately ruin the experience, they really shouldn’t be focusing on adding more don’t get me wrong adding more is good just not this often. Their attention should be more focused on the current bugs, or even a tutorial for new players cuz if your gonna produce shit like this and want new players then at least make sure the new players know exactly how to play this game the RIGHT way.

- Why does it look like a childs Kickstarter trailer... - wtf is that voice acting, did he read it in the car... - additionally if there going for historical accuracy, by reading the letter Eisenhower sent, D-day took place at night for the paratroopers.

Ain't no fucking way they actually just showed immersion breaking visual bugs in the trailer. I was already worried after the speed increase, but now I think it's safe to say RIP to one of my favorite games ever, guess I'll be going back to Squad for my milsim itch.

This trailer is pretty much summarizing overall quality of recent patches.

STOP BULLYING THE MULTIMILLION DOLLAR STUDIO. Anyway, this is what happens when you go to a basement DND match and ask someone to do the voice acting for your trailer.

This is definately a concept, or just a sort of story board. I guess someone at Team17 messed up and sent it to the wrong person and got it leaked somehow, as its not on the Team17 or Hell Let Loose KZread channel. I'd like to think that Team17 hasn't comepletely lost their minds and fired all their qa analists and replaced them with visually impaired. EDIT: Nevermind, appearently it was released as a promotion (from what i could find) at PC Gamer (?). Appearently they are releasing a 25-player mode, im guessing for people who don't have time for the full hour-long sessions a 100 player game takes up. IDK what to make of this. I think Team17 needs to seriously reconcider what kind of audience they want for HLL.

@@montrealcanadiens59 The problem with a 25 player mode is that the core audience for HLL is looking for large scale semi-realistic ww2 battles. Thats the whole selling point. You dont play this game during work break, you reserve a whole afternoon or evening to play. With moves like this you risk alienating your fanbase as a developer. Just look at the recent update 14. Everyone and their mum was active on reddit to complain about it. And now, with the trust in Team17 already at the lowest low, they release a terrible trailer and announce features no one asked for.

I put more than 2k hours into this game, but since the take over, it's going downhill. Literally the same vibe, when Dice dropped the BF5 trailer. (prosthetic arm woman with a bat.)

What the actual hell? If this is real then they have vastly underestimated the audience for this game. It looks terrible, the sound design is awful, its like its been made by the cheapest offer on Fiver.
