It isn't the game's fault that some players don't react to footsteps@@rileyfair5 most times players would react, it isn't easy getting multiple melee kills in a row. I managed to pull it off in a recent game. I was quite happy with that so I slapped it at the beginning of this video.

T17 fixed the grenade bug, and I think yesterday they released a hot fix for the server crashes which I believe has also been a legacy problem. They’ve been very transparent about what they’re doing and I think their turn around has been great so far. Looking forward to the next update!

He’ll let loose when played with a decent team is my favourite game to play. Nothing compares its so immersive, love it👍🏻

Since hll has went back to what it was I've never stopped playing it its all I want to to play like I did when I first started it the devs have walked the walk hopefully its going in the right direction finally

I've played many games recently and HLL is the only one I genuinely enjoy playing. The others with battle passes feel like a chore, you have to complete it. Find myself just logging on to HLL to have fun.

@@dannobo9014 Team 17 bought the game from Black Matter. All development is done by them now. First major update that they roll out which added the British ended up sucking ass for a lot of reasons. Team 17 then made it a point to fix all of their issues and be accountable. Now the newer patches have been great.

The Brits getting the 50 round Thompson and the bipod for the Bren will be huge. Fingers crossed that they redo this game in Unreal engine 5 . Im curious to see what the new loadouts will be since the rank structure is increasing above 10 in all classes.

They have already announced plans to rework the British faction, including weapons. The MK3 SMLE is coming, as is the Thompson M1928 and the Bren will get a bipod, also gammon bomb will be added among other things@fancybaguette964

I normally dislike realism fps games but there's just something about Hell Let Loose that hits different.

No rousing music, just gun shot, scream, and explosion all around. The atmosphere is top tier

That was sick! This game has all the ww2 feels. I enjoy the epic shit talking that takes place in squad chat. The only thing i dont like is when people talk too much in cmd chat and it makes being a SL a little stressful lol

Great video as always IronHeart. Sorry about the long comment below, however.... I get everyone has their own opinions, likes, dislikes about things in the game etc. But overall this patch is a step in the right direction and I feel people are being overly critical or expecting too much from a single patch. The run speed is A LOT better, it encourages teamwork and now less people are running across open fields and managing to survive via zig-zagging and exploiting dive to prone and stupidly keeping up with light and medium tanks in 3rd gear. I know people are gutted about dive to prone being taken out for this patch. However, the mechanic was broken. They've only temporarily removed it to fix it. Which again is the right call. Hopefully it'll be back soon. As for the British, doing a full rework takes time, new guns, old guns with updated animations, coding, new vehicles, updating current vehicles, clothing and equipment doesn't happen overnight. For me, T17 has done well (for once) & long may it continue.

I agree it is a small step in the right direction, I think dive to prone should come back in some form which is less prone to abuse. I also think the distance the player slides should be reduced, it was too exaggerated IMO. Hopefully Team17 can get 14.3 out soon and get back to adding quality (not rushed content). The British update was a mess but they have admitted that so let’s see how they improve them. I’m really looked forward to the introduction of authentic Deutsch Afrika Korps content too!

Yh I just wish the British update had been as cool as it should have been with DAK cosmetics, weapons and vehicles. At least one or two desert uniforms for the Brits, right weapons and vehicles for 1942/1944 maps etc. It could and should have been way better, hopefully Team17 now recognise that the community just wants quality content @@TheGreyWolf94

game look soo fun and funny in some situation, sadly in SEA rarely played this game. i bought it and trying to join server always empty for SEA, chinese server always full and if i joined literally i cant understand the comms lol. great video btw, salut from indonesia

My biggest issue right now as an Xbox player is the white out on snow maps and the same thing on desert maps. Even with optics it washes out everything and you can't see anything past 50 or 80 meters. You zoom in..get a split second glimpse of the distance then it washes out. I thought it might be my tv but it's happening to several of my friends too. It's a a serious issue when the enemy can see you an range and you can't see anything but white or yellow.

I swear, you KZread HLL guys get so lucky sometimes with the stuff you pull off. When I find myself in similar scenarios it never works out that way. Like with you shovel killing those guys all in a row... When I go to do it the enemy "scrambles" after my first kill, presumably because they use their mic to yell out that an enemy just knifed them and to turn around and get him... When you do it they are none the wiser and practically allow it to happen. I wish the game actually played out like it did in the video where enemies miss open shots and are generally oblivious when you maul them like you did. But for anyone watching... This RARELY plays out as seen in the video. It's a fun watch but don't expect to do this in your own games.

14.2 is live. Speed increase reduced, some say not pre-update 14 speed but definitely slower than update 14. Also dive to prone was removed (they might revisit that later after proper testing). 14.2 also fixed the grenade bug.

Anyone else having hit res issues? I have been with people in game who complained about bullets going straight through enemies, and so have I. I also experienced getting headshot dings, but no kill on my score board (multiple times). As well as normal kills not seeming to count. Played a whole game, kills we’re in the plentiful, yet my scoreboard was a flat zero. Is this something others are experiencing?

@@IronHeartGamingYT last night I watched a member of the discord standing 3m from me, get hit with blood spray visible, and he didn't bandage, so I asked if he got hit, and said the wall in front of hit got him, but he never did. Even since the small patch, I've seen many players taking 7-8 shots from an SMG just to go down. Could be related to the delay happening in the server, but I also saw my teammate blast the flame thrower roasting an enemy and that enemy had time to turn around and shoot him. It's better since the patch though, funny enough.

That is interesting, I haven’t noticed anything like that but now you mention it I saw one or two lagged out enemy players since the patch dropped. Usually just a guy running into a wall and I had to shoot him multiple times with a one-shot weapon point blank before he went down. I just assumed that individual player had desynced as none of the other players around were affected.

They just need to add back the dive to prone and it’ll be solid.

I don’t think the current game engine/servers could handle 300 player battles - that would be 3X bigger than the current number of players (50vs50).

I purchased this game a few months ago on the Xbox X. I have not been able to play more than 6 minutes of it due to being disconnected from the server. Every other game works fine on my internet I have good internet! Can’t even refund and it really sucks cus this is a game I looked forward to playing

Generally I haven't had issues with players not talking. Sometime you'll join a squad like that but if that is the case I just change squad. I play on PC.

I haven’t had any issues but generally the game has always run quite well on my PC, I know I’m lucky in that regard as players with even more powerful rigs than me have faced issues. But in the games I’ve played in 14.2 it seems pretty good.

I only play on PC so I can’t say about console but it’s a great game if you like first person shooters than require teamwork and communication

10:40 Broken hitreg on display. Slowed it down to 1/4 speed. 4 out of 5 of those shots should have landed. Your first one the guy was standing still and front sight was almost center mass. The game is slowly going in right direction. Looks like the player counts are coming back a bit. Its one good performance/hitreg patch away from being back to old numbers. Then we can finally go forward instead of fixing what they broke.

Yeah they really need to fix Hit Reg. Although I think that might have been a ping issue with this guy? You didn’t “hit him” with the Mosin Shot but he died anyways. Seems like his hit box was off a little bit or something

i'd be careful reloading after every 3 shots when you're clearing a building lmao

on the 0:15- 0:40 good example of miss communication or no communication at all. This is why all players should use the microphone or go to the Enlisted crap game.

@@hampdog5716 as I know no matter how you got killed the team voice still works for team members. In sniper team 2 players plus close team members can here you're voice and on the video you clearly can see how both team members got killed and no any reaction.

It’s amazing how few people use proxy chat. Nobody in that opening clip is using it. I’d be screaming that you were around. Lol.

There’s a pretty bad VoIP bug now that prevents you from talking in Proxy chat. It’s been a long time since I’ve been killed by a melee. Do they get wounded or instantly dead? Because if they’re wounded they can talk to their teammates still.

@goestheboom5211 it clearly isn't because the original devs lowered the speed in update 8 for a reason, if they're going to keep the speed this way other things need to be balanced around it. Realism doesn't matter, balance does.

Love the game, just wish it didnt feel like you're running through molasses. Sure you're a fully kitted soldier, but it still feels a bit too slow when running...Even 10-15% faster would be better...

Still a lot of problems with this game I could name tens of them and they do need to be fixed but it’s a good game nonetheless. One thing I will say is most of the maps are good besides like two one of then being El Alamein which in my opinion is probably the worst map gameplay wise and just map design wise.

“Glorious again” the game didn’t need a speed increase and dive to prone needs a rework if it was to be reintroduced. So HLL went back to what it was pre-update 14, which was fine but now we have the Brits. And yes they need a rework too but that is coming, the devs have confirmed that. Overall I enjoy this version of HLL a lot more and found it pretty fun, some might saw ‘glorious’, hence the title.

Not sure I like slower running speed.

@@nieuweabnormaal5869Considering that there’s only 2 enemies at the most with Snipers of the possibly 50 players; the chances are slim you’re always getting shot by a Sniper. Probably just a guy who plays the game a little slower or has Intel that you’re near (the enemy team can communicate and ping your location too). Try not to sprint everywhere all the time and I’m sure you’ll do better

So it took them almost two months to remove change they did and fix one bug? ... Yeah, I'm going back to BG3, wake me up when they actually fix the game.

The game has essential gone back to what it was pre-update 14 + British forces (which yes are crap at the moment but they are getting a full rework in the future). Mistakes were made, but Team17 have admitted that. So for me a small win is still a win. Fixing a legacy bug like the grenade bug isn't something to downplay either, that has been a problem for years and they have finally fixed it.

Running speed hasn't been reverted to its pre u15 state though. It's still slightly faster

My point is, we have been lied to. They said they would revert to pre u14. Which they clearly didn't... And yes, some may think it feels good but the overall balance is still shit

It feels waaaay better than update 14 speed. A slight increase in speed from pre-u14 that we have now isn't game breaking. So I disagree with your statement about balance@@orhan3007

Everyone thinking the game is fixed is the problem lmao,got a bunch of fast paced multiplayer noobs coming to hell let loose and ruining the whole game,you guys think its fixed but all the o.g gamers abandoned h.l.l thats why the matches only last 20-30 mins now instead of the 1.5 hours lmao

I’ve been playing the game since 2020. Saying new players are ruining the game is silly, attracting new players is how games stay alive. Sometimes your team might get steamrolled in 20 minutes, that’s just how the cookie crumbles and it’s usually down to a lack of garrisons. Players learn from those experiences; “oh we got smashed in 20 mins? How did that happen? Oh right, nobody built garrisons. Next time we should build more garrisons.”

It’s made ZERO difference! The game won’t improve for me until the British weapons are fixed but Christ knows when that will happen!

The British forces are getting a full rework... at some point. The main thing for me is that the running speed increase has been reversed and it literally reminded me why I enjoy this game so much. The return of the slower running speed makes the game feel less run and gun, encourages more teamwork and each life feels more consequential because it takes a bit longer to just run back into the action.

@@IronHeartGamingYT the running speed never bothered me in the slightest. The removal of dive-to-prone was stupid. I would have much rather had them included in a much bigger.

They said they would revisit dive to prone after testing changes to it properly in a PTE. I would like to see it come back in some form.

So noy muxh changes and everyone loves hll again. Seems weird to me Just play the damn game. Diving is realalistic AF. Just not standing up Quick.

Going back to the old run speed was the best decision they have made thus far 🫡

Still need to tweak infantry speed, but better than the cracked speed of U14.
