I have gotten much better at my speed! Finally did my first run after prepping for a while (no shared) and got 2hr20min. I was happy as hell. But man. Your speed for hotkeying/setup of inventory and pretty much everything is just.... Blink and you'll miss it. Sweet stuff. This helped a lot as always.

Would it be worth it to get a merc with some good gear? With infinity for the aura as an example

I love how it's got two chapters. "Run starts" and basically "Run ends".

How realistic is +Nova +Lightning mastery orb? I thought skills have to appear within adjacent levels (i.e. 24 and 30, or 18 and 24, but not 12 and 30)

This fckin blew my mind, and i just watched till sub 13 min duriel... omg

So if you don't get good jail set up right at the beginning, do you restart the run, or just go get level 17 somewhere else?

Its amazing how many best in slot items are rares.

Been so long since I’ve played d2, making me want to get a pc to play d2r. Definitely don’t remember a bunch of these mechanics but happy to see the changes. Also you play so fast figured you’d get banned for accusations of using a bot program lol

@@Kano_AU Got a buddy that got into this new version it and could rush me to 80 no prob. The changes sure are intriguing, stash expansion and skill reset plus added runewords n items. Just need a pc, disappointed can’t play on a new iPad Pro

Your map reading skills are amazing, 4 minutes act 2, and you dont even look at the map sometimes just know where to go. Lol :D

Great vid - I don’t watch speed runs or Diable 2 content - but enjoyed the whole way through ! Is a bit strange that all the effort went through to get this WR run & you still seem sad / disappointed. Not sure when the joy of the addiction comes through 😅 But I am sure it’s in there somewhere

Does he use a save editor to come up with the items?

Nice run. Try for some charm optimization between early str/mana and skillers. 5fr/mana large would be worth looking at. Lvl 30 circlet would be better with 30frw instead of 10fhr. You could get 10fhr on 2 Small charms but it's probably not needed. Improving mana would save a lot of time spent on potions. Tele charges on orb could be fun for lvl 18. Early 30frw/dual rez boots would be worth it around 18 as well.

I dont know how the changes to D2R is compared to LoD. But in my head 1 point into Warmth would be a major help with mana regen. Less time needed to buy mana pots from Nightmare and on. Depending on Optimized gear that is since you would want at least 3 items with +2 Skills on it. So Spirit - Lidless - 2 Sorc 20 fcr Helmet "lvl 67 req" as i remember. Can go for a +1 sorc or +3 Of element. i think the breakpoint for warmth to be really good and require no mana pots is around lvl 15+

a little tip : you could use a gothic plate (found in nightmare) with 4 sockets :) use 4 rares jewells with -15% Requirements, and you need 28 str to wear it :)

In the beginning of the video how come you didn’t use any sort of mana ? What item made you spend 0 mana when using charged bolts

When d2 comes out there wasn't ng+ at all. 😅 I In new games is ng+ a thing, but in d2r it is only 3 difficulty setting

Well played! How come speedrunners doesn't use /nopickup? I've seen multiple speedruns where people picks up random stuff because they clicked somewhere on the ground.

Ah, didn't read the "shared stash" part. Kinda makes it a bit less impressive lol

i dislike the fact that there is a in game difficulty adjuster. wonder if there is a speedrun category where that feature is not abused.

Its always the Same Map right? So you trained the Same Map over and over to exclude random Generation / Luck issues? Have you considered generating a better map or is this already the shortest pathways?

The Frost Nova at the beginning would be because they are Level 8 charges on one of the staves, otherwise if you mean regular Nova - I think maybe mana per kill?

Very insane run, the only thing what I feel is a bit sad is the GG gear that has just dropped on the ground. Perhaps you would take a minute total longer to keep it an restash it but it would be worth it in my opinion , its such a waist losing this perfect items

Well, if you are using hacked items this might be considered a TAS, a tool assisted speedrun. I am not taking anything away from it, this is a really entertaining video, exciting challenge and the skill is undeniable. Just that it is a TAS in my opinion, so if hacked items are allowed then maphacks, scripts and even gamestate-saving and reloading should be allowed aswell. And at that point the run would be an unwatchable frame-perfect half an hour of teleporting.

I wanna like the game, but im completely dog shit at it 100+ hours and never managed to finish hell even once. Still regularly get one shot in nightmare even, every time I play it feels like im wasting time getting no where. Then people can boot up fresh characters and complete the whole game in 3 hours, or even less having access to a shared stash of items. Must be nice to be good at things in life, and not be a loser at everything you attempt.
