I never met Helio in person But I have truly respect for him He was very kind to my father Showing him what to eat and even calling my father to know if there was any doubt and how my father was feeling after started a diet. He didnt ask any money to do that. He simply liked my father and told him he was welcome to train any time he wants for free. Helio did that because saw in my father a good man.

since being on this diet, (coming off a body builders diet of low fat, high protein) i have felt much better with myself. his book is amazing and interesting to read as well :D

The unique success of BJJ is in their willingness to test everything in Combat, against all arts, all opponents of all shapes and sizes. Practise makes perfect. The techniques themselves are not original but has there ever been an unique technique in the last 200 years?
