From the newspaper Bild: This surprise immediately hit the heart! Five years ago Helene Fischer (36) visited Sontje, who was seriously ill with leukemia (then seven) at the University Clinic Erlangen. Now there was the big reunion! During the “Ein herz für kinder” gala, Sontje (12) surprised her idol - and the singer moved to tears. The 12-year-old revealed to BILD how she experienced meeting Helene! "I'm so glad you're doing so well today," Helene gushed. Sontje beat blood cancer and can finally live a normal life. Helene has never forgotten Sontje “It was a great wish to see Sontje again. I had goosebumps, ”Helene told BILD a few minutes after the surprise performance, holding back her tears. “I was built close to the water anyway (that she cries quickly). Fate really concerns me. " And that's why she took a lot of time for Sontje, even invited the student into her wardrobe - completely private, without cameras. "Helene is a strong, confident woman and also very nice and helpful," said Sontje enthusiastically about the meeting. "We talked about school and friends, the current situation with Corona and 'Ein Herz für Kinder'."
