Don't really know why, but I always find Helena Bonham Carter tremendously intriguing. I'd love to spend some time with her and just talk about the things that make her tick. She seems to not give a damn about what others think about her and I LOVE it.

I ALWAYS enjoy watching them because they transcend their own identities and CONVINCE you they are ACTUALLY channeling the person they're playing. It's DEEPLY intriguing. I actually bought into Michelle's portrayal of Marilyn WAY MORE than some of the other ones I've seen. Helena just SUCKS you in though with her performances. She's SO visceral about it.

Helena goes to extreme lengths for her roles and yet hasn’t got an Oscar!!!

When Helana talked about playing real persons it reminded me of Daniel Brühl who played Niki Lauda in the movie Rush. He said the hardest part for him was the fact that Niki Lauda was still alive (at the time) and he was well known. He spent a lot of time together with Lauda, getting to know the man. He played Lauda very well, better than Chris Hemsworth played James Hunt imo.
