A lot of us don't like her!! But if you carefully listen to what she and Solly Msimang says and look at the situation from an objective point of view one can see that they are in the right. No party, who lost with only 34% of the vote has the right to take 100% of Gauteng as Lesufi did the very first time. The president, correctly stepped in and told him to include the GNU partners. Now they still want to control everything?? There is only 6% difference between the 2 parties. This fact and the fact that both parties signed an agreement together must move them forward Nearly equally. Every other province got together and is working perfectly, can one say the the Premier is the stumbling block as all the other provinces worked with the DA with no problem??? Maybe the president needs to step in again and do things right and fairly. Who knows if the other parties get together with the DA and the ANC will be totaly out??? Let us hope the best outcome is achieved for all.

Waste of time. Court can't interfere in politics like that. At best they can say "breach of contract" and therefore the DA has the right to withdraw from the agreement. But in this case the DA does not want to win in a legal court case but court of public opinion.

A simple solution at this point is to accept that The Premier is in Place (unless he gets removed). ANC is the largest so should have more than DA in second place. Premier + 4 portfolios = 5 or 6! DA gets 3 portfolios (2 + less) 1 portfolio to 3 small parties! = Majority effective Government!

Only 45% wanted MK meaning 55% against them. Even with EFF they only got about 47-48%. Its not a winner takes all system regardless even if your votes are less than 50% but you need 50% + 1 for stable government else each vote in government about budget (which needs 50% + 1) leads to constant negotiations and slowed down service delivery. That's why DA is fixated on agreeing to principles first - they learnt from JHB, Ekurhuleni and NMB coalition collapses.

I think it's not DA fault that MK is not leading i kzn. IFP ANC NFP DA decide to preclude i MK. In Gautang other parties haven't decided to sideline the DA. If they can, then DA is out. 2. MK in kzn kept on jumping in circles instead of acting swiftly to form government and i heard that it was betrayed by IFP n NFP. Mk Party was not the overall winner. You only are the overall winner if you have 51or more %of the vote. Like the DA has in Western Cape
