It is like the first character where i say yo he is worth it and i am fine with 1 heizou and no cons so i have wishes for Sumero chars and i get all the other chars, weapons and a mona. Everything but not heizou. I have literally everything prefarmed for him. Not like i had for all the other chars. Now i am just scared that if i continune pulling that i get no heizou but a kazuha so i dont have Tighnari save.

i think for a majority of people including me the reason why we want him and intend to use him is because hes fun and simply unique. i never would have thought of a catalyst character absolutely pummeling enemy's with there fists let alone a anemo one

Unless you are an extremely new player and want to be serious about the game (which I don't even know why you would. As if it's some kind of esports competitive game), pick whichever you fancy with. If you have even just a decent game knowledge and patience, any character you use, any team you use, can clear abyss absolutely fine. As long as you clear the abyss, you're good to go. It's not like honkai levels of abyss where you need to compete with other players' time to get the most rewards since mihoyo for some reason can't and will not implement such engaging end game content in genshin. If the do in the future, then great but as of now, they're not doing a single thing about it so just go with who you are having fun and comfortable with. Game's not engaging enough to warrant being seriously thinking about meta over anything else.

ikr, Heizou is so strong, even tho i gave him trash artifacts, a stupid book and his talents are legit 1-2-2 and he is lvl 30 but still did 11k in a charged shot, amazing

I'm kinda fine with him knocking enemies back because most enemies nowadays are too heavy to get knock backed anyways, especially in the spiral abyss.

This. There's hardly any single enemy you can knock around, and when there's a swarm of smaller mobs, both electro-charged and frozen mechanics solve the damage distribution problem. Also, with being close and personal with the target I can finally unleash my perma-wet Barbara

I kinda of fill your pain. I have being saving for kazuha for A WHILE and, at all of the 4 stars the only one that I was slyly interested on was Ningguang because I'm building a mono Geo team and I pretended to put her in this team, so gaining some constellations would be cool. 60+ wishes latter and then I ended up getting c3 Heizou, c4 Thoma, not even a single copy of Ningguang, and I lost my 50/50 to Diluc. And them I'm here trying to see if Heizou can be useful for something for me

I was just able to barely clear 130k skill with bennet buff, and I’m only at C3, at C6 I think it’s possible to clear atleast 150k, and with god send artifacts you could even clear 200k.

Heizhou is pretty good for daily end game user like me that already have a overpower and fully invested character. He's limited dmg is very good. Why? So i can feel the game again. Well at least my enemy cant died in seconds i teleport. 💀

He's alright at best at c0 . Doing 6digits on his skill/burst isn't anything special considering Sara with supports can also drop 6 digit nukes with her burst at c0 too. And unlike Heizou she actually has access to some to shred the resistance of the element she uses

@@justsomeguy727 they're very different tho. Sara can achieve high numbers but only every 20s with 80 energy cost. heizou basically just has stamina cost on it. Also Anemo is arguably the STRONGEST shield shredder, as long as you have multiple enemies with multiple elements on, anemo will swirl on every single one creating multiple reactions and each one apply damage to shields. And most single-target enemies don't have shields to begin with.

Fun detail about Heizou! He can actually mine ores I assume because he’s technically punching them, which means he gets to join Klee and Ninguang as catalysts who can mine

Well Sucrose attacks are ridiculously fast. But I get what you mean. Catalyst does bring concerns, but with Heizou they are trying to break that mindset so ppl start loving catalyst again instead of only praising Spear 😅

I think his burst is meant to compliment his Elemental Skill (since the skill pushes back and the burst pulls enemies in)

Aside from his C3 that increases his E hit, he really doesn't have any meaningful power boosts until C6 (though that's kind of a doozy). The rest of his constellations are basically quality of life upgrades.

@@justsomeguy727 because Sara’s play style is stiff, unlike Heizou that can dish out a huge damage without any complicated stuff like rotation, positioning & etc. and her kit is meant to buff Raiden, sure you can make her as her own dps but again, her play style is too stiff added the fact that she’s electro - the weakest element in the game as of now. Plus Heizou is anemo. Slap him some VV and he already hurts cuz even if your VV artifacts is +0 the 40% decrease elemental resistance is still there.

Ningguang would be the perfect DPS if not for her being Geo. 1. No charged attack stamina cost and can deal up to 2x more damage with max Star Jades 2. 3 E's in like what, 3 seconds? if you're not gonna do that, it's a guaranteed E every 6 seconds which can deal up to 35k damage each 3. Burst will whittle down a single target boss. 4. Range, can take down all kinds of shields (which will change to MOST shields if she was any other element) 5. Mommy

Not as simple as that. Her kit is design for geo, pure brute force with low energy cost, short cooldown, and relatively high multiplier (compared to her peers at least). If she were another element, i'd imagine her damage multiplier would be lower, her skill would also slightly change. She is perfectly fine geo dps, whether she is competitive with other unit or not doesn't matter, she works fine as is.

I really liked the infographic showing the relevant stats while showcases were going on! Made it very clear to see what to expect, and having them visible and handy like that is just super helpful. Often in other guides I've seen, I have to keep scrubbing back and pausing to see a characters stats for reference. Great stuff as always!

he's the first character that I've ever owned where I genuinely couldn't care less about the damage. He just looks so sick when he's fighting. His mediocre damage forces him to keep attacking and I get to watch him stylishly commit genocide for longer

Heizou fixed my issue with Xiao. We finally get an Anemo DPS that can benefit more from Swirl, and is able to work well with sub dps like Xingqiu, Yelan, Beidou, etc

I thought yelan works with him? Just do a simple n1 plunge. It makes sure that you gain her a4 passive boost and to make it so that she's not just there for the DMG boost but to be a sub dps Although correct me if I'm wrong

@@ironspider_9522 she totally works with Xiao and by the end of her burst she increases each plunge by 10k+ (plus the exquisite throws dmg: 5k x3 for each plunge, with copium artifacts. Overall, during her and xiao's bursts, she adds something like 150k via throws damage and another 150k via plunge dmg increase. And that doesn't even take into account the buffed dmg for other party members: my albedo flower gets a nice boost too during her burst). So, overall, she is a competent support for Xiao, as well as a sub dps (directly and by buffing other sub dps, especially off field ones)

If you use him as your driver in a taser team, it makes Kuki a better option than she is in a sucrose taser team because you don't have to worry about the low range of her E since you're in melee range anyway. So if you REALLY need more healing in your taser team (if not then just use Fischl/Beidou/Yae/etc), he indirectly buffed her.

I definitely see Heizou being a test case for bringing in a different type of weapon for a more fist melee type combat. Maybe bringing a Fu Hua type character from Honkai Impact down the line. Just my little theory.

i got so lucky i pulled 30 times and got my first ningguang, heizou, and kazuha with no pity :0 as a free-player this was my dream come true

This is the most unique character in awhile and I can really see them going far with this type of catalyst or plays on existing weapons for new characters

Finally I someone who can use the Lost Prayer I didn't want from standard. Yanfei could also potentially use it, but I prefer Dodoco Tales on her because the immediate buff allows you to quickswap to supports without losing stacks. Heizou wants to be on-field longer so he can really take advantage of the stacks after you set him up with some off-field support.

I’mma summarize for y’all, since the title was misleading and the video is relatively long: Heizou’s skill has pretty good damage. He doesn’t have a lot of options to shred anemo to be a carry, so his performance is hindered. His attacks hit like a wet noodle, and C2’s grouping is lackluster. EM is a niche build for him essentially locked to XQ/Fish. Standard damage spread is flexible, but runs into the issue of squeezing a full declension skill in before buffs run out-which non-declension skills are generally not worth it with the considerable declension damage scaling. Pull if you like him, but not if you’re expecting a god-tier character. I probably saved you 10 minutes.

Just got Heizou from standard banner, I missed out on him when I was taking my break from Genshin and I was bummed that I had missed him because as a fighting game player I love punchers. Building him is gonna have to wait though, I am currently in process of building a team for Nilou and my resources are going into her, Barbruh and Collei.

Idk why, but I'm looking forward to try out a hydro/dendro team with Heizou as a driver for reactions!

As much as I love Heizhou VV domain is the definition of torture, I've farmed that shithole for 4 months, I've yet to get a good 4pc for Kazuha, he's still rocking 2pc Glad and 2pc Wanderer's, because my VV pieces are that shitty Yet with the amazing Maiden pieces I have I could probably build hybrid DPS, healer Barbruh

Leaks confirm that VV is coming to the artifact strongbox soon, so that will at least help

you should use any EM VV regardless of substats, the 4pc set effect is just godly on anemo

the way my kazuha is also running 2pc glad and 2pc wanderer’s too even tho i’ve farmed that domain ever since venti’s second rerun and i don’t even have any godtier pieces like i have gotten from other domains 😭

Heizou is one of my all time favorite 4 star character. He’s just so freaking cool

He seems very very fun, but meta-wise, he is a Sucrose downgrade. I know he is technically better when they're both on crit build, Sucrose is likely better than any Heizou build when she's on full EM and has something to swirl.

gacha gamer has early access and is able to test characters ahead of time. how does no one know this, he mentions it all the time lol

A New 4 Star that might somewhat actually be worth the hype?! 🤔 Got him on my first 4 Star, and so far, he's decently fun and refreshing to play. Glad to have another short Inazuman Boy I can overuse.

Got Kazuha and Heizou in my first 10 pulls this banner. Pretty cool. Don't know if I can use Heizou now that I have Kazuha, but I'll experiment a bit.

I just got him a few days ago and he's now my main DPS... As a player who loves elemental reactions than damage, I love his playstyle

I like when he said he tested a lot of team comp and the video shows 9 screens of testing but it's the same clip lol

I'm using him on taser comp as my on field DPS and it is going pretty smoothly

Hey Gacha if you want you should try Heizou with c6 anemo traveler which will help with grouping and anemo res decrease!!

Heizou is incredibly fun, i got him today at C0 and I'm absolutely delighted with his playstyle and capacity. Plus, given that i 36starred abyss with him at lvl60 on a taser team that's not exactly amazingly built, i think it's safe to say he's a pretty good unit :D

Managed to get him on my 2nd 4* pity and he's very good! Level 50 with 1-1-1 talents and he's already doing 62k with his skill! Though I really hope we get more anemo support for anemo dpses :( I miss using xiao as my main dps and now heizou too

I use Yun Jin (C6), Barbara, Heizou. 4th can be anything you have free. My Heizou is crit build (15% anemo and 18% ATK set) and comp revolves around him (wanted to make 4* Heizou main dps comp). Yun Jin gives huge boost to Heizou normal attack. Barbara is here to buff ATK (catalist) and provide reaction (ELe skill) so Heizou can fill up ele Skill charges. As forth char you can use Rosaria for freeze or Fishl for electro charged. I find this comp quite flexible.

After reading the comments lmao I’m glad I’m not the only one that got tons of Thoma’s and only 1 Heizou (Got 4 Thomas, 1 Chongyun, and the four star Bell claymore before Heizou finally came home. Even though he’s C0 I’m glad I got him lol and definitely cannot use anymore primogems… my pity is too high.)

I did a single multi and got c1 heizou, I have him at lvl 60 lvl 4 element skill with lvl 90 r5 dodoco tales and he crit for nearly 30k. I just gave him my Xaio artifacts with over 200% crit dmg. With a 1.9k atk stat and no buff.

If he knocks enemies back you can pin them against walls or even the invisible barrier of the abyss so this could be very useful knowledge to battle enemies against the wall.

Didn't watch the video yet, but I feel like I can be veryvhappy that I pulled his c6 while pulling for Kazuha c1. The 4 stars in the banner are great for me. My Ningguang was still c3 and I had no Thoma.

For me, the fun part starts where I need to build him on my secondary account at AR 25. I don't have access to endgame artifacts yet, so thankfully, there is no guide to spoil my fun.
