I really love the pretty look of the 51. It's so unique and the designers did an amazing job.

Its so silly that its 2022 and you can't show historical swastikas on the warplanes, but the rising sun or soviet symbols you can show just fine. I think its safe to say its been more than long enough now.

You might want to take a look at the ACTUAL history of the WWI period and the aftermath with a view toward dismantling the myth that Germany was solely responsible for the conflict. Or the role that U.S. President Woodrow Wilson played in that tragedy because of his out-sized ego and lack of real understanding of the stakes. The point? That the ludicrous Versailles Treaty and associated humiliations created the circumstances that made the Nazis possible. How long are Germans expected to grovel for an historical situation that was substantially authored by the sainted western democracies? It has already been too long, to the benefit of those who would use such nonsense to further their own political ambitions. Angela Merkel would be one of those. So please stop feeling you have to flog yourself, and other Germans, for the Nazis. You're welcome. Greetings from the United States.

The symbol in question Is one of the most ancient symbols on planet Earth. Ancient temples in India, Japan And the oldest statues of Buddha all have this symbol.. Up until the 1950s highway road signs in New Mexico area Southwest United States had this symbol on the freeways.. Blessings to you all

Yes, it was my mistake when considering that the engine being an evolution of the BMW IV, which was an in-line engine, the BMW VI would maintain that characteristic. I removed the wrong information of the subtitles. Thanks for the info, Greg!

The allies greatest mistake in 1918 was not marching on Berlin and ensuring the surrender of all German armed forces in defeat and scotching the stab in the back myth and all the ambiguity of Versailles. Compounding this by weakness in letting the serpent rise again.

I chose not to watch the whole video, simply because the swastika, which the Nazis emblazoned on the tails of their aircraft are not fully represented here in modern graphics. I find that omission simply intriguing as to the thinking of the producer of this video. Political correctness has gone way too far, when historical photos as displayed in this video, can reveal the swastika on historical German aircraft, but any presentation in 2022, by some, choose not to display a piece of history which is so readily accessible? BTW, the Swastika has always been a good luck symbol that can be found on Indian Temples going back thousands of years. The Swastika has nothing whatsoever to do with the corrupt ideology of German National Socialism from the 1930's and 1940's. The producer of this video should bear that in mind.

@@owen368 - the really odd thing about all that B/S is that photos' or old film can be displayed, but put up a graphic that is produced for this video as being taken as some kind of verboten support for an ideology, and the real Nazis take it down. Folks still believe that the Nazis were defeated in WW2 - they were not because they control the world today - one only need to look at the WEF to realize that.

@@owen368 - thank you, at least you realize who part of the problem is. I've spent the past forty years of my life researching who actually controls this entire planet. What I wrote previously I know to be true - well - they are the main instigators of all that we now find ourselves dealing with. Look up 'Operation Paperclip' if you wish to find out how the West became contaminated during the second world war - the choice is your's to know.
