That was fucking amazing! Small stage, intimate venue, I would have killed to be there. I don't think Heilung will be coming to the US anytime soon. One can only dream.

I’m a firm believer , that this type of Music, and other types of music you would consider “heavy” because to me this is as heavy as it gets, I think this type of music triggers something inside us when we listen to it, like something in our genes passed down all the way back from our ancient ancestors. Would love to see these guys live!

Sounds like pre- civilization to me. Pre- Viking, like praying to animal spirits and drinking blood from ennemies. A bit ridiculous actually...

I love how praying to animal spirits is considered more primitive than praying to, say, an anthropomorphic god. Anthropocentrism might, I guess, lead to a higher degree of civilisation by modern standards, because it emphasises humans as a species, i.e. separate from animals, and it gives a sort of self-esteem to us, but, really, being religious ultimately boils down to blindly believing in the absurd, without any sort of proof whatsoever. Does it really matter if the god is an animal or a man-like figure? If anything, regressing to our animal self in certain states or situations may prove beneficial, because then we accept ourselves integrally, as opposed to religions such as the monotheistic ones, where we are "sinful" by default, just because of existing. I'm simply objectively analysing and thinking about stuff here, not trying to offend. The only thing I do find weird, however, is the "drinking blood from enemies" part. Seems like such a generic and biased statement, coming from misunderstanding. If I'm not mistaken, drinking someone's blood is literally deadly. I'm not sure if it exists or used to exist in any culture to be fair. Sure, cannibalism was and still is a real thing, I sure don't find that all right, but yeah. Drinking from animal horns might be what you mean, but that's 100% vegan, since you don't even need to kill to get an antler as it is regularly shed in nature.
