From a Stars of Tomorrow" concert at the 2022 Heifetz Institute Festival of Concerts, violinist Zachary Brandon performs "Discipline & Transendence" by American composer Christopher Theofanidis. As Zach explains, the piece was commissioned by the Elmar Oliveira Internaitonal Violin Commission. Zach Brandon was the 4th place Laureate at the 2023 competition.
