I think it got worse again since she has been dating a German man. I´m from Germany myself, but have a Canadian partner. Since he started learning German and we try to speak this language, my accent when speaking English has become so much thicker...

So, there's a big difference between willingly sharing a bit of their private lives and the harrassment they lived through in Europe.
