In german schools we are taught english as our second language and as an elective subject we can also choose to learn french as our 3rd language, so it wouldn't be surprising to me if that guy was actually a german who has french at school and just said something random into the camera haha

This brings back memories from when I used to live in Germany and went to heide park every week.

The new story for Colossus sounds amazing. Coaster and Monster having an epic battle with the power of screams? Yes please!

You will love El Toro, the airtime from the first drop is so good and the rest of the ride is full of twists and turns that certainly don't mess about. You'll love it for sure

Pretty awesome about the corkscrew trains, even though they are just trains it is kinda nice to know that part of that ride is still out there being used.

The buildings and surroundings look great. Good to see Colossus back open, even if it copies elements of Wickerman.

El Toro is really good! I've been on it 52 times so far just this season! And Kingda Ka is good, But Toro is the best at Great Adventure by miles!

I lived in NYC in 2009. And I agree with this statement. KK is impressive but El Toro is the better coaster by far. I even preferred Nitro to KK tbh. Much more re-rideable.

Colossus is the kind of ride I would build if I was given unlimited resources to make my own theme park. I've wanted to go on this coaster since I was a kid. Top of my bucket list. I'd love to travel to some of these parks.

Just been checking this out for a potential family visit (post covid). You are exactly right about what makes a theme park great, some people are just credit mad. For us as a family a park needs the transport, dark and water rides to make it a better experience.

OMG Heide Park looks so amazing with some really impressive footages! I didn't get a chance to visit last time I was in Germany but I will be sure to check it out next time! I also really cannot wait for you to come to Six Flags Great Adventure! See you this summer Shawn, El Toro is going to be amazing!

Fair warning: El Toro is NOT as smooth as colossus. It’s still pretty smooth, don’t get me wrong, but don’t go in expecting it to feel quite like Colossus. (Personally I’m totally fine with the smoothness of El Toro, it’s my number one)

El Toro will not disappoint. Back row! its the best

Hi shawn my 1st upside down rollercoaster was the corkscrew at Alton towers back in 1983 on a school trip. Its nice to see the trains are still running. Great vlog xxxx

I went here so many times when I lived in Germany, I only went on that small ride in the western section though

Maybe you could use the official POV from the park in some of these vlogs. Even if it wouldn’t have your live commentary it would still add to the vlogs.

RMC doing work on Colossus would be insane, i'd love to ride that in hybrid. RMC's are so damn smooth.

I went here in 2017, and didn't know that Colossos was closed and I was very gutted.

My home park 😍 And I have no time to watch it now 😭 But I am looking forward to tonight. Then I will have the time 😁 Edit: In fact Heide Park had two observation tower. 😂 One of that (it's name was Aussichtsturm II or Observation Tower II) became Scream. The tower was build in 1992. The one which is still in the park was the first one - build in 1985. They also had two Pirate Ships. Bounty...the one you rode and Santa Maria. Santa Maria has been in Heide Park from 1983 to 2009. Now you find it at Legoland Windsor. And a little praise: Your "German" pronunciation has gotten a lot better - compared to five years ago 👍

Collosos reminds me of the shy little brother of El Toro. El Toro seems to be much wilder and extreme. The Drop is much steeper and it rides a lot faster. There isn't much theming in the queue though, but it's a Six Flags park so theming is very minimal anyway. El Toro has been my #1 since 2005 when it opened, but instantly got de-throned last year when Steel Vengeance was born. I'm quite confident it'll be in your top 3 when you ride it.

Ah, I see its not just US parks that won't let ya guys film onride either. Great vlog, Collosus looks like so much fun!

the sad thing about Big Loop is, Python at Efteling is two years older (1981) but has the better and newer trains. Also Python has been (as you may know) retracked and is way smoother than Big Loop.

Desert Race was closed the only time I went to Heide Park since it was installed, Desert Race was closed when you were there, I'm wondering - is Desert Race ever open?

TP Enthusiast ,,can't build higher than the trees at Alton towers as it annoys the locals. ,,hence why the rides are always dug down into the ground

Oh I wish wickerman was like colossus 😫 AT have done well with it though considering the space they had!

Hey, does it help your view count if we close the video, go and find on ride footage from other naughty creators, and then come back and continue viewing? I must have revisited this vlog 7 or more times riding the pov's and coming back! Personally, the cookie cutter SLC, and desert race wouldn't be worth riding in my opinion. I mean, I don't rate Rita, and Blackpool has a blue version of the SLC, and Blackpool's looks better with the waterfall and the close proximity to other rides. Great vid as always, you inspire us to get out abroad and get on some more coasters. Keep it up!

Toros at my home park ive ridden it a few hundred times, its really good, id say a bit overrated but its still in my top 3. Front row all the way

Flug Der dämonen is actully slightly taller than Swarm accirding to rcdb. But I am totally with you haha, Swarm feels a lot taller

I went to Heide Park last year and was so sad that Collossus was closed
