Very smooth flight. Have queries though. 1) Which transmitter and receiver have you installed in this model? 2) At what frequency are you using? 3) Likewise what range do you get? 4) What is the flight duration? Kindly let me know as I liked this product.

HI . Im using TBS Crossfire system to control my aircraft ( nano diversity receiver ) The radios Im using are TBS Mambo or TX16s Video freq. is 5,8G ( analog) Dont know the max range , because the battery size is the limiting factor. But 5km is easy. Flight duration it really depends how you fly. It could be 10 min( if you hoover a lot), but could be 30 min if crusing slowly P.S. This is not a product you can buy. Yo would have to build one yourself. Hope it helps

@@RS_ are you using the Heewing T1 ranger vtol pnp?will be using the 3S 5100mAh lipo. As regarding the transmitter and receiver am opting for 933mhz. Hopefully it should give me a better range keeping battery duration aside. If battery is a hindrance, might upgrade to a higher mAh lipo.

What would you say is the max flight time you could expect from a build like this? I am trying to figure out if it is worth all the extra work in converting it to vtol

Its difficult to say. I havent tested it that much . It really depends. This setup is not very powerful, so you cant put a bigger battery, it just wont lift up . Its kinda already struggles on a windy day in a copter mode, so it would use a lot of battery on take off! But if you throw it like a normal plane in manual mode and only land it in a copter mode, you should save quite a bit of juice. Last time I tested it it was quite windy and I took off and landed in a copter mode . The flight time on a 4s 1850mah was about 15 min. On a calm day and not using copter take off mode, you could potentially push it foe another 10 min.. I bought some more powerful motors and thinking to go for a bigger battery too, but havent installed them yet . Its still bad weather in UK

Thanks! Yest the FB group is very helpful. I got all the help I needed. There are 2-3 videos on YT about T-1 + VTOL, but yes ,that wasn't enough for me .

@@RS_ Hey thanks for replying! After watching some videos from ppl setting up T1 vtols, I tryed to instal a lidar sensor so i can make it super stable. im almost done working on it , there is no documentation and help about it. I really hope to finish soon so I can make the maiden flight :D

Great video, chill music while still showing the HUD. The stabilized HD videos with no HUD get obnoxiously boring.

Yes. You can fly it in quad mode,but ofcourse it's slower and Less nimble than a regular quad. Check my other videos,you will see

Is that vtol packages from heewing?

Correct. It is well designed and neat ,but I would have liked bit more powerful motors tbh. They are completely fine for what they are designed to do,but if you tend to fly in less than ideal weather the motors are bit struggling ,but only in VTOL mode
