अच्छी सीरीज हे , सबका टेस्ट नहीं हो चाहे पर कुछ लोगों की चॉइस हो सकती शुरआत थोड़ी स्लो लगी पर जेसे जेसे सीरीज आगे बढ़ी हमे अच्छी लगी। मनीषा कोइराला, पंजाबन,और भी कई लोगो का काम बहुत अच्छा हे ।

Bhai, aap ye series dekh sakte hain. Kuch imperfections hain par overall it's a good series. Sets, songs, dialogues, dances & acting of some characters is quite great. Story is simple but good to watch! Ye Aazadi mein Tawaifo ke contribution ko ujaagr karti hai jise log aksar bhul jaate hain! Overall its good!

It seems that some of these critics are very bised and are giving negative reviews out of proportion. Well, a person should judge things on his own instead of believing dishonest reviewers This is not a perfect series but its quite good overall. First episode is slow but rest is well paced! And its a masterpiece of visuals & classical songs!

Only Mr. Bhansali can portray Tawaifes larger than life. Everything including (Actors , Sets , Costumes, Dialogues, Jewelry , Grandeur, Songs ,Cinematography...) takes us to the Heeramandi realm. Its weakest point is the story line , delivery nad Conclusion. Which makes this visually rich masterpiece an average series.

Kotha is not a culture. You should go through the events again, and then u will realise how and why it was promoted. 2nd thing that it was forced practice, not culture. It's not indian culture/ practice. In our culture, girls/ women are being worshiped like pure soul in temples not in kotha. This is culture.

@@adhiraaj Brother, it is agreeable that kotha is place where women suffered irreparable damage & loss! We as a society should be accountable to that! But at the same time, kotha was also a place of art, music, dances & poetry. Many of the most iconic dances & music were composed at places like these ones. Classical dances like Kathak witnessed a new level of development & Urdu shayari flourished in & around these places! And not all women were helpless here, some were into this profession by their will & by their choice, becoz to be Tawaif (Courtesan) had been equated with financial & social privileges! It was only later that this system got decayed & downgraded to prostitution. Tawaif system & their kothaas are part of integral part of India's culture (like Geisha is part of Japanese culture). Their negative perception cannot change this fact!

Its a masterpiece to say the least. Very artistic & aesthetically pleasing. Sets, songs, dances, dialogues are fascinating & fabulous (esp Aazadi)! Acting by most of the characters is very good esp by Manisha Koirala, Aditi & Sonakshi. There are some imperfections in plot execution, speed & twist making but these issues are only at some points, not everywhere in the series! It focuses on a rare & often forgotten topic- "contribution of Tawaifs in the India's freedom struggle"! Overall its a very good series & must watch!❤🇮🇳

Its a good series, 1st episode is slow rest is okey, one time watch.

I think series is really good, it becomes boring only at few places when the no needed love story is stretched and thats what made this series lengthy. I think its a must watch series only because of music, actors work, sets and costumes. Diakogues are good too but its extremely lengthy. Such webseries should had been hardly 4 hours long.
