Incredible performance. The way the dog worked without eye contact and at distance was superb. That 'evil' laugh at the end was the icing on the cake.

That was beautifulllll! I love the fact that both the dog and the woman both looked like they were enjoying this a lot. And the storytelling was amazing

This was absolutely BRILLIANT! I was captivated throughout the entire routine. The choreography was genius and the performance flawless. The ending was a delightful surprise to me when BC mimicked maniacal laughter. The timing was perfect! I felt like giving them a standing ovation.

God created man. But he perfected border collies. Simply astounding performance! If this was an Olympic event they would have won gold easily.

Absolutely brilliant! Dog has a better memory than I do. Just magic.

I am ugly crying. Tears wont' stop. I have so much respect for Elke and her dedication to training. What dept of communication between our dogs we are all missing out on. Training with no sight line, so much distance and blind trust exchanged. (ugly crying still) While the ending was entertaining, the entire routine was spectacular. As was the well thought out brilliant idea found in the mirror image theme. Well done Elke and your brilliant BC.

Me too- they are absolutely incredible!! Such tremendous intelligence, trust, dedication & love between them both…phenomenal!!

Beautiful performance from both dog and handler. What a great way to wrap up a show career, too.

It is my utmost dream to enter this competition!!! As a girl from the Philippines we do not have Canine Freestyle or Heelwork To Music... seeing this makes me even want to create routine.

This dog should have won Best in Show as well as the Heelwork, because he was best in the show. An absolutely unbelievable performance. That thinking dog so clever , so aware adores his owner and will do anything for her. What a joy to witness such a ground-breaking performance. I am in awe.

That was an AMAZING performance! I love how the dog pushed her into the mirror, turned his back on her and started laughing menacingly. 😂I could help laughing at that. That was an incredible performance!!! 🤯

This was just so, so good. Great storytelling, fun to watch and the dog and his handler were enjoying performing for others.

This actually gave me goosebumps.

the story in this routine is rather chilling/disturbing, but seeing the dog's adorable face cancels out the creepiness for me. what a beautifully executed masterpiece!!

This was great to see. My sheep dog was watching to.

still my absolute favourite. when I saw it the first time it blew my mind when the music drops and they both walk backwards with that amazing speed and precision

she uses voice commands. I have no idea how she gives commands when she's really far away though. So well trained!

Yeah you always still use voice commands in freestyle or subtle hand signals

There are verbal and physical cues. At this level, it’s required for them to be subtle.

Oh yes, complete dedication. I compete with my own dog (nowhere near this level!!!) and you spend months and months and months honing the moves and linking them and fitting them into the routine so you hit the right notes in the music. The thing is though - it's fun! 😊 We spend ages of quality time with our best four footed friend and the relationship just grows stronger and stronger. There's no downside to it, it's just the best sport in the world! 👌😁
