Haha, "if you have a little kid...by all means just grab them and kick their legs from underneath them." WILL COMPLY!
"Have a kid, by all means, kick the legs right from underneath them" 😂
Thank you so very much for your channel and all of your videos, I have t watched them all yet but I am working my way through them. My maternal grandfather was stationed in Okinawa in the mid to late 60’s as Shore Patrol in the U.S. Navy and he trained with local police and found Japanese culture very much spoke to his being. He taught me many things and a love for Martial Arts as a way of defense and self improvement was one of the most important lessons I was fortunate enough to absorb.
Ok, why I’m I way more impressed with that beautifully executed throw at the end!
I love it! Interestingly, Tai Chi has a drill based off of "push hands" or "Tui Shou" where one person slowly begins to apply that kind of knee pressure while the defender shifts to relieve pressure until they can apply their own knee pressure (and the cycle continues). I love that this can be directly applied to a judo sweep :)

Watched it like 10 times! 🐯
Very interesting. I have never seen a deashi done that way. Thank you.
Any vids specifically on how to keep safe doing different throws?
Very cool!
Excellent
very cool!
This is nice I also do something similar to scoop and grab a single leg or set up uchi mata.
Great slo mo.
In shotokan karate we did a similar looking one but instead of rotating their leg we pulled in a very specific angle at the same time we pulled woth the arm... It didnt sttack any joint but it looked so similar... This one surely is more powerful since it can attack their joints... I like it...
I love this technique , don´t know where I was it as kosoto gama ... By the way I have money for only one instructional, the one you got and the last one with leg grabs, can´t decide yet :/
Can you do this from a under hook
But wouldn't it be obvious if I have to pull up my pants for the set-up?

Nope, only if they had watched this video. Actually, otherwise it would be very confusing for them if you just started rolling up your pants 😁

Some people roll up sleeves to fight some people pull up their pant legs lol

You guys know he did that so you could see where he hooked right? You'd never do this in a match...

Bozocow it was a joke guy but in bjj I have pulled up my sleeves pulling up your pants would be advantageous against grips and would give no friction I’m assuming it’s illegal in judo?
the sticker
What does the character on the hoodie say? I'd like to know before I would buy it.
Cool sweep but seems to put the other guy at some risk of knee injury if you don't keep control. There is a portion of it where a lot of weight can accidentally go into their knee from the side.
Can you do this with an underhook or collar tie for nogi?

Yes! underhook, collar tie, or overhook. My preference is a far-side underhook.
Dont be lazy like me where youre just half ass hooking their ankle then get countered with tai otoshi
I thought you were actually going to finish with a heelhook as I do.

Remind me not to roll with you
That is a Yoko-gake :)
What do you mean, "don't sit into the knee"? Thanks.

Put your weight into the knee from the side.

@@Shigashi84 All right. Thanks. If I'm gonna destroy someone's knee, I'd want it to be on purpose, and for good reason, and not hurt a training buddy.
Isn't this a bit like Yoko Gake? Maybe without sacrificing yourself too.

If you sacrificed yourself, it'd probably be considered yoko gake.
Sticky Toe!
That's nasty
Can someone start judo at age 34 and become a world champion? Or it's late for him for the trophy? Thanks

Cool move. Now all I need is to find me some little kids to kick
This dude tried to Americana my leg and knee, always train with care and respect for others, as pain is annoying me
