When Hedon released the Hedonist open face helmet back in 2014, we were gobsmacked by the attention to detail and luxurious finish. This fresh London brand took the simple and established concept of the open face and perfected its design. The hedonist (and a year later the Epicurist) quickly became the helmet of choice for anyone looking for safety, comfort and class. Inevitably we started dreaming of a Hedon full face helmet with the same levels of craftsmanship and sleek design.
Two years later and the Heroine Racer is unveiled. As soon as our friends at Hedon walked in our London shop with the very first production samples, it became clear that this helmet would make quite the splash. This is the most beautiful full face lid on the market. Perfection in design, as we've come to expect from Hedon. The finish is absolutely stunning: the leather trim and metal hardware works a treat in combination with the Heroine's sleek shell and colour schemes. The visor pivots around those gorgeous metal side pods and shuts with a satisfying click. Above the viewport, you'll find three simple but effective vents. The liner doesn't just look luxurious, its soft finish and ergonomic make this ECE certified helmet a joy to wear.

Everything is good but inside of the helmet parts is not removable to wash, that's a no go for me

why cant I find the visor from your video on your web site?
Is the right one Ash Matte or Stable Black Matte? Is there a chance to get a tinted goggle visor? I would love to get a black matte classic with brown tinted goggle visor.
These are dope helmets It doesn't strike me as an everyday rider though maybe when you're dressed up but heading out on the bikes would be cool. You figure with moderate usage you get your money's worth with the fit and finish it's the last years just a thought...
So you can’t remove the inside padding to wash and clean, there is inadequate ventilation, you can’t fit an intercom on the side and fit the speakers, and apparently wind and rain comes through the gap between the visor and helmet. Thoroughly disappointing because aside from a list of negatives, they are gorgeous helmets, pieces of art.
I bought a hedon and there is a gap around the visor so wind and water do get in. Not worth the money. but a gorgeous looking helmet.

Are the shells identical? I'm wondering if the racer is more versatile because you can take off the visor and then it's the same as the classic except with two metal round visor clips still on it I guess it's also missing the three buttons but they're in the same position I wonder how hard it would be to add buttons to it ?

If you're a rider that wants to look good and have a sizable bank account I'm sure it will fill that role but that's about it. I like the line "Its way better than you would think." I want a helmet that is as good as it can be. You can always tell when a review is done by someone who sells them.
Biltwell Gringo & Gringo S. Any thoughts on a comparison to the Heroine? They're different world's price wise.
what about ventilation, namely on the normal Herione, it doesnt seem to have any ventilation at all...

Thanks for the reply the Heroine has 3 small but very effective vents located above the visor line. Hope this helps UR

@@UrbanRiderlondon Other reviewers have found this ventilation system to be woefully inadequate. This is compounded by the inability to remove the liner. I have not owned a helmet in years that does not have a removable liner.
You pop the visor down around your chin? Well, that wasn't properly thought out by Hedon, was it?

Yeah, mine got scratched and wrecked. Still waiting for help from hedon after months! Too pricey to be this slack on replacement pin lock and service.
Can you fit an intercom on either helmet, e.g. SENA 30K? Are there speaker cutouts?

Painfully, the only downside to the Hedonist I just got. Can't remove the lining to place the speaker of my Freecom4+ in

Hey Omar , they do have similar styling to the gringo but the Heroine holds more premium features and finishing in turn bumping the price up. Hope this helps UR

You need to take into account that our size differs from Hedon's which is to say that they run a size small and we reflect that in the size guide on our site. Once adjusted for that they should fit fine. Cheers
Stylish, but 150 for a piece of plastic?!
Why? No vents, not washable...useless unless looking good is your only concern. I am sure they are well made but give me a Shoei
Ruby Castel helmets are much nicer. These look nice but really No comparison. If you want to spend $$$$ on a helmet get a Ruby.

Slap the words luxury on something, make it look 60 years old, crank the price, and the hipsters come running with their trust fund checks.
Oh hells no !!!! Probably the most shitty expensive so called helmet made . Ugly as heck to boot!
