In today’s episode, Apurva Sheth is in conversation with Kundan Prajapati. Kundan shares his strategy about how one can generate regular income by using an options hedging strategy. He starts the episode by sharing how he entered the share market right after completing his graduation. He shares an options calendar trading strategy. It is used when we are expecting stagnant Implied Volatility(IV) or when IV rises. He believes you must avoid calendar strategy when the IV is about to fall.

The session looks nice on paper but practically the adjustments suggested don't work. e.g., if the market starts going up, Kundan asked to buy a call or book profit in sold put by rolling it up. He showed changes in pay-off. Now the problem is that in Live market call premiums will shoot up and put premiums will drop when the market starts going up hence the actual pay-off will show a loss, instead of marginal profit as shown in the video
