I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 16), this passage from the Book of Hebrews, along with Hebrews 4:14-16, was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson for today. It was entitled "Gifted and Chosen Leaders." The hymn, "Rejoice, for Christ Is King!," written by Charles Wesley (1707-1788) is a good hymn to compliment these Scriptures, regardless of denomination.
