You actually DID have me going about the hot tub cover! Too bad it took out the storage box lid. Very strange how it practically crumbled in places. Perhaps the plastic itself was getting dried out from the sun and was brittle. The new one will come with a key, which will be great until the key goes missing. Or becomes so much of a problem as you'd have to traipse halfway across the backyard to the cabana to get the key and then to put it back again. I was going to suggest something along the lines of a lock hasp, but instead, I think a security sliding deadbolt that you'd add on yourself would be the best solution. It'll probably hold better than the factory Chinese Play-Doh lock, and no key to lose or misplace. Worst I had was the wind blew the hammock over, no big deal. It also blew one of the skimmer covers off. I'll have an upcoming video soon where you can see that.

Haha yeah, thought it would be a good idea to kinda lead into it this time! I'm just glad my strap work did the trick. Yeah it's possible the plastic was starting to wear in that regard. If the new one comes with a similar design, I can certainly find something to slide through that will hold the lid in place. Maybe we should even consider moving it to the side of the hot tub during the winters that way the wind won't have such a direct path next time. Ah yeah I saw the hammock in your video from today. Very simple fix. Look forward to the video!

That's to bad about the storage box. At least it wasn't too much damage. Is that 303 protectant you are using on the hot tub cover?

@@Sharkie626 WOOHOO Also a couple things to note, I have 3 irrigation projects this spring, I recommend checking them out when the videos come out, and I recommend that the head right next to those plants on the rocks on zone 5 gets replaced with a 12 inch pgp ultra/i20 so it can also get over the plant but still be hidden
