Well, it is a gruesome tale, may you believe an old man like me.. but no more than 20 years ago two travelers came by this place. They went out too far too late and they needed a place to stay. I obliged, as anyone would to a nice couple. That night a heavy storm rolled in, making the road too dangerous to travel, so naturally I offered them a place to sleep. That night I heard a bloodcurdling scream, I hoped with all my heart it was just a nightmare, so I went back to sleep. The next morning, when the storm had gone quiet, I gathered up the courage to check on my guests... Man was away, woman laid badly cut and bruised on the bed. Checked her pulse right away but it was too late.. I, and many guests with me, have heard the screams and moans every single day... But the tea is ready, have a pleasant stay, and remember what I warned you about...

That's how I imagine it whenever I read "A Christmas Carol".

This is such a dark and ominous scene with the scariest wind I have ever heard! It's perfect for drawing spooky pictures or reading creepy stories. Many thanks for sharing your talent.

My 100 years old home sounds almost exactly like this in Winter! With wood cracks from the stairs that goes to the attic and to the basement...

As the adventurers were lead by the old man who wielded only a torch, he spoke out in a somber voice. "People may have forgotten what happened here, but the walls will never forget the atrocities committed." A scream echoed down the corridor with the party of heroes drawing their weapons and standing at the ready at a second's notice. As one turned to question the old man, he froze. He was gone. (Glad you guys are back!)

Swinging open the entrance they saw a dilapidated living room with dusted furniture and many cobwebs from the years of abandonment, yet it was peculiar they ventured down a long corridor to emerge in a chamber that would've been the first room seen by anyone who strolled into any house. What nonsense of a home was this ancient place they had been led to? Stepping slowly into the room the roguish male glanced around and let down his guard. Sometimes we love haunted houses just to chill

I like how this feels realistic, no extra creepy music in the background just a silent room with only wind and fire. Like the occasional voices you can hear too, they aren’t right in your ear or too frequent- actually I probably missed them several times because they are so faint and far apart. I like videos that aren’t made to be some streamers cheap or royalty free Halloween theme background music. It’s easy to get lost in and feel like I’m actually there and not in some cheesy horror film like most of these ambiences turn out to be. (Can you tell I’m picky about what I put on my ambience playlists?- me? Haven’t noticed😂) you’ve done an outstanding job with this one. Very relaxing. 👍🏻

Nice perspective from above. Question is: Are we haunted or we are the ones haunting some poor souls? 😊 Love it.

I’ve moved into this new house a few days ago. The place seems off, but nonetheless it is my new home. I grab a book and some warm coffee, and light the fireplace. I sit at the chair and read a book, staying unusually calm, despite all the howling wind and hard pouring rain.

I can imagine this along with Vincent Price narrating spooky stories the whole time! That'd be fun! I like to use these as inspiration for my writing! it's great!

I am currently living in a tropical country...ironically, I miss the cold, blankets, fireplaces! Guess you cannot escape your origins.

This is a good one ! Puts me to sleep ever time, I hear faint whispers which surprised me and the strong wind is my favorite. I listen with headphones on so one time I woke up and thought it was raining real bad outside!! Now that meant you scored !

Really nice picture. Reminds me of an old Hall that was a youth hostel near Edale that I stayed in in the 70's. Creepy as anything and I didn't sleep all night!

@@Erakius323 I misled you slightly. It wasn't part of the YHA. It was run by a charity from the church and accommodated youth groups and retreats and the like.

That picture above the fireplace, though grainy is eye catching.

The best ambient channel out there, hands down. The atmosphere of each piece along with the world building in the description really make it easy to lose oneself in these. Thanks for all the work and effort you put into these creations.

The effect of the darkness being so heavy is what I like the most. It makes you feel thankful for the fire, whishing it would never turn off.

Bro i put rain sound at night and sleep then one it ended the next one was this anyways i was sleeping and i started seeing that im haunted and i wanna get cursed i saw 2 different short stories. Thats really weird without knowing the title or anything and i was sleep this video is really haunted.

Man, Guild of Ambience has a video for everything, I’ve been using a variety of these videos to read the Wheel of Time, I just recently started the first book. There’s a video on here for any situation, and holy cow does it add to my immersion in the story. Incredible stuff.
