Heavy Tonnage on the East Penn Perkiomen Branch
On June 13th, the crew of ESPN PERK-13 found themselves having over 20 cars at the NS interchange. Knowing that the 7554 could not pull all of them, calls were made to see if 1804 could come back to service after being out for 6 months. A while after, the two engines went lite down to the interchange and picked up 21 cars. They then dropped off 8 cars at Vera Cruz siding.

Another great video, I like seeing the old GP18 pulling some freight. What fists does this train run to the interchange and a rough time frame to catch it? I work up in Pennsburg PT now. Do some railfanning.

When someone is taking video there are 2 rules: 1. Stay behind the camera. 2. Be quiet. It’s not that hard. BTW... nice job on the the video. Good sound of the old geeps.
