I have the same. I wasn't looking for gently rain sounds - I was looking for the very hard thunderstorm with lightning. People write "heavy rain, thunderstorm" meanwhile you can barely hear something thundering. Fortunately, I found this! (・∀・)

@Maryse Bowen That is what Mom told me..."God and the angels are just bowling tonight." Mom was a great bowler and always brought home the trophies.

When I was young my dad would give me a cup of hot cocoa and he would take his coffee and we would sit on the porch during a thunderstorm. He wanted to make sure I never developed a fear of them. After I grew up, I did the same with my children. Now, we absolutely love thunderstorms!!!⚡☁

I did the same with my kids. My daughter was afraid so we got her a computer game called thunder and lightning are not so frightening. And I would take her to the garage and open the door and we would sit and watch and talk about what made it. She now loves storms.

I remember the time I cried during a storm. I was drenched , shivering. Cause of two people i lost the same day. I lost my trust, my friend and my love together, i caught them together on my birthday that is. Since then, storms are the only comfort I have. The only peace i have. Unfortunately I can't feel that every night. But I am grateful for these people who post such stuff. Thank you for helping me sleep peacefully for the past 5 years. I owe you alot😊

My favourite time...I love standing at the top of the huge rock and spread out my arms as I receive the power of relaxation and body massage that only Thunderstorms can provide for free. And trust me, it's not scary at all...it's relaxing, it's invigorating, and in a way, makes you appreciate nature and literally treasure her.

I fricken Love Thunderstorms, growing in the midwest there was a season for them every year-either the beginning of spring or end of summer,I'd love to sit outside on the porch to soak it all in-pun,somewhat intended,I'm talking about a covered porch. I don't know where in the mid west you lived, but I get them most times it's too warm for snow....so we had winter season and thunderstorm season. And every once in a blue moon, we get thunder-snow too, and that's a wee bit scary without the raindrops to soften the thunder claps and often it gets hail as well. I don't like hail.

Some people can't sleep if there's these kinda sounds outside at night, but me I can sleep with ease with these sounds outside at night it makes me fall asleep faster
